Title: Keith's folky blues songs Post by Holden on Jan 18th, 2009 at 6:54pm
I just heard for the first time his recording of cocaine blues and I really love it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SutO9tW9k9g Did he record any other songs like that? I really like that style. The only one I can think of is Hurricane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC-_iZ0TNEI |

The earliest folky thing from Keith I know of is his noodling around on 'Needle of Death' by Bert Jansch. It's on 'Charlie is my Darling' from 1965, right at the start when they're all messing around & goes straight into the old Jugband classic 'Salty Dog'.
Martin Elliott has this listed as #259 'Unknown Folk Song' , not so, every Bert Jansch/Pentangle fan knows of it. |

Ohhhh, yeah. Forgot about that. I know exactly what you're talking about. And, coincidentally, I've been listening to Pentangle/Renbourn/Jansch the past couple of days....
