Comments?
That song can make you feel really good. It's almost perfect. Like morphine. Just play it a few times before you comment. |

Legend has it that Keith ad Mick heard Jack the gardener jumping in rain puddles early one morning outside and the idea for the song and riff were created.Who knows for sure......BTW can be we leave Obama out of at least one thread? |

Sure. Howe's this? Jack is John "Jack" McCain and "It's a gas, gas, gas" refers to his allegiance to Big Oil. |

I have always felt that JJF is the essence of rock and roll. If you were to define rock and roll with one song, it's JJF.

The demarcation between rock'n'roll (as "good time music) and rock (deeper, heavier and more profound) can be marked by the difference between Jumpin' Jack Flash and Gimme Shelter. Each is the greatest song in its subgenre.

Jumping Jack Flash is the greatest rock and roll song ever conceived. There is no arguing this fact. It's a goddamn mathematical equation. JJF = Perfection.
If anyone - anyone - disagrees, they are a waste of human life. :whydontcha |

Yeah, it's such a great riff, & guess who came up with the riff, it's Bill Wyman, not Keith!!!!! he was the one who came up with the riff, & the same can be said for "Paint It Black" read Bill's book.

Who Gets the songwriting credits for the Stones greatest songs, not Wyman, Jones or Mick Taylor (which is why he left The fucking rolling Stones, Time waits for no one) it wasn't Keith passed out on the floor from to much Heroin, it was Mick Taylor!!!!!!!!!!!! he left The Stones from not getting song writing credits for their greatest songs from '71' to '74'

Robert Johnson wrote "Love In Vain" so who does it get credit to on "Let It Bleed" guess who? the same can be said about Led Zep "The Lemon Song" (Killing Floor) & a hundred other songs, but in The Stones, when you've got members belong to the same group, when a person is the original source of the music, it still get's credited to Jagger/Richards, what's this all about.
