nope - had just come back a few hours earlier from my Milan and Paris trip to see Springsteen so I gave it a miss. Getting a bit reluctant to bother with outdoor shows in the middle of nowhere anymore, to be honest. The show was at Malahide Castle which is about 15 miles north of Dublin, so I passed.

Saw his two shows in Manchester at the Apollo (a 3,000 seater theatre) in March, however - and he was absolutely brilliant. Played for almost 3 hours each night.

His cover of A Day in the Life is pretty hot esp. when he makes his guitar sound like the orchestra.

i love neil....always have.

i am sorry i missed the tour [which was not to long ago and maybe it is the same tour] where he played 10 songs acoustic and then took a break and then did 10 electric songs. the setlists that were coming out from those shows blew me away.
