on the subject of german technology the following is funny - stop me if you've heard it before;

A guy goes into a store to buy a coke . He goes to pay for it and pulls out a handfull of change from his pocket and puts it on the counter. Amongst the coins are a few golf tees.

The girl behind the counter says "What are those things?"

the guy replies "They are tees - I put my balls on them when I drive."

"Oh" said the girl "What type of car do you have?"

"A Merecedes" replies the guy,

"Ah those Germans" says the girl "they think of everything."
