Title: Barach and Hillary Together? ...from Ian
Post by Ian Billen on Jun 27th, 2008 at 11:54pm

Well, Barach and Hillary took the stage today together today in "Unity", New Hampshire (nice move with the name and location they chose).

Barach's team claims Obama called Bill Clinton to persuade him to jump on his bandwagon a bit more but has yet to hear from him. Who knows who exactly on Barach's team suppose ably claimed that to be so and who knows if it is actually true or not... That is another debate in itself.

Regardless,

I am still not sure if Barach intends on choosing Hillary as the VP. Actually I feel it is 60/40 "no-go". I think there is a semi-chance he will choose her but more-over I feel they are leaning towards someone other than Hillary. Whoever he chooses I KNOW he will have a nice place for her to try and appease folks either way.

-Wondering what you folks think about them appearing and speaking today so soon after the primary.
-Also I was wondering what you folks feel are the chances that Obama will win by choosing someone eles versus the chances of him winning with Hillary as his VP?

(I'd hope you all base your opinions using your heads and not your hearts. It is easy to let personal feelings get in the way of logistic thought ...especially in politics).

The party united the second she conceded. He doesn't have to appease her or who he imagines to be her supporters. He also doesn't need her to win and her presence on the ticket would counter whatever message of "change" he has been campaigning on.

Personally I think it would be a good opportunity to relegate the Clintons to the history books. The Democratic party doesn't need them just like America doesn't need them. They are scum.

BO won't pick Hillary as his veep.  BO can't beat McCain in the general election for lack of experience.

If this doesn't suit you, you better make other plans for the next 4 years.   :willya

" I am still not sure if Barach intends on choosing Hillary as the VP. "

Barak WILL ask Hillary to be his VEEP and she WILL accept ( see : LBJ - July , 1960 )  .

It is the smart move as she will be just a heatbeat away from the Top Job she so highly covets ( see : LBJ , November 22nd , 1963 )

Dude, that above setlist is accurate as far as it goes, but it misses the second encore where Barach sang "Hard Luck Woman" to Hillary and then they wrapped it up with, and I can't believe you missed this, a 10 minute jam on Lee Dorsey's "Yes We Can", which included a 5 minute duet between the sax of Mr. Bandwagon himself, BC, and Trey Anastasio on vacuum cleaner.

Now on Dime!

If it's a suite it must have been "I Am Woman Is the Negro of Buy the World a Coke"

Sorry I missed that.

But the after party was swingin' - Dionne Warwick, Bobby Vinton, Gladys Knight, Johnny Mathis, Petula Clark, Jack Jones, Cilla Black, Herb Alpert, B. J. Thomas, Christopher Cross, Anne Murray, Bobbie Gentry, Sandie Shaw, Patti LaBelle, Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald and Elton John were all there.

Some guy calling himself "Hal" tried to crash the bash and got tossed out on his ear...

Didn't catch his last name, but don't think so.

He kept shouting "Just tell him I'm here! We wrote those songs together!!"
