My vote changed from LQ 1997 to Let It Rock.

LQ 1969 only because you didnt include Let it Rock from 1971 - which they released.

..and only because theyve still never performed You Cant Catch Me, which for me, is the greatest Chuck Berry cover theyve ever done.

I should emphasize that I didn't change my own vote. It changed on its own.

D'oh!

I knew I must have forgotten one or two.  Where can You Can't Catch Me be found in boot-land?  I'm a huge fan of their version of Reelin' and Rockin'.

Any others I'm missing?

It's never been done live. It's on either 12X5 or December's Children.

gotta be Bye Bye Johnny 1972 due to everyone in the band playing absolutely killer most times - Keith's lead is simply sublime on L & G Soundtrack

They are ALL sublime - the Rolling Stones covering Chuck Berry is what life is all about.

But I voted for the Ya Yas Little Queenie.

Agree, killer cover and totally wild.

For Bye Bye Johnny '72 I'll take the version on Welcome to New York! over any of 'em.  THAT is one of the world's great musical apocalypos.

Just listened to Sweet Little 16 from Some Girls and I like that a lot  too. Would have been better with a really good solo, though.

It does, however, benefit of the lyric "Tight dresses and Cotex . . ."

I thought it was worth mentioning that in Ladies and Gentlemen, on Bye Bye Johnny, just take a look at Mick's eyes, he's so coked up you can hardly see his pupils  :perverted

Its actually a Leiber & Stoller song with definitive version by Elvis.  Very few people heard Big Mama's version.

Very few white people heard Big Mama's version, you mean.  But I got your back, the Elvis version is definitive.
