if this is going to be an all trumpet or sax or whatever it is he plays chances are it will bore me to tears...but it sounds interesting if other stones will be on it.

no, you are right, but you have looked at the Rolling Stones Project, which was released in 2005. Mick was not on that one, but he will be on the new album.
