Title: Presidential Poll test
Post by TenThousandMotels on Jun 4th, 2008 at 9:12am
Rule 1- No pro con political arguements. The purpose of the poll is to see how accurate this poll is in relation to other polling out there. Anyone, lurkers included can vote but only once. Once you've made your choice you're stuck with it forever. LOL.

This poll sucks compared to my groundbreaking polls on George Walker Bush III's disapproval rating (he kicked some 13Q booty here on RO) and on Jesus Christ's color/ethnicity.

Igziabeher!  Yeah, I goddam said it.

What color are you?

Have you been convicted of a felony or any crimes involving moral turpitude?

What exactly were you doing in Germany between 1933 and 1946?

Can you name the first president of the United States?

Do you have the results of your literacy test?

Do you have your signed loyalty oath?

---------------------

Motesie, these are the questions I would ask of all potential votees.  I cribbed them from previous voting registration forms used in the United States.

Failure to ask, will result in one all fucking dicked-up poll, IMMFGDO.

"Rule 1- No pro con political arguements"

After consulting with my staff, it has been shown
that this statement is in violation of Poll Demand
Rule 15, Article 6, Sub Chapter 6, Paragraph 2.
This rule was ammended at the meeting of Poll Purveyors Council
(PPC) which was held in Vdansk, Poland, the year of our Lord, 1993.
It was decided at this meeting that all whom violate this
Rule would be sentenced to testing gravel within the
forbidden zone of Cherynobyl, Russia for a period not
to exceed five years.  You are hereby advised that a team
has been dispatched to your home, for your IP address
has been located.  Once this team arrives, it is highly
encouraged that your cooperate with them.  You will be
flown to Minsk, Belarus for processing.  You will be taken
by train for the trip to the outskirts of the forbidden zone
in Chernobyl, this arrival is expected to be at 0231 hours
on 07 June.  You will be guided into this area, wearing only
a shirt, which has a photo of the Dali Lama on it.   You will be
given a box of Kashi for the first year, as well as a transistor
radio, which has one radio station, a tribal chant from Papau,
New Guinea.  There are codes within the chant, which will
allow you to locate foodstuffs in the abandoned buildings
in the forbidden zone, which are only 90% contaminated.
You should be able to survive for another two years of your
time there.  There will be a morse code device in Building # 5,
where you will be able to communicate your progress with the
gravel testing daily.

It is expected that upon your return to normal life, you will
have understood the severity of Poll Violation, that you will refrain
from such future activity for the good of mankind.  On behalf of
the PPC, I wish to thank you for your expected support and cooperation
of this rule.

Cocaine was commonly referred to as "white Jesus" in the late 70s.  Among white users, that is.  I doubt any black guys were sitting around doing rails and saying "got some more white Jesus, niggie....."

Yeah, Cindy McCain is a bit of a druggie.  So what?  George Walker Bush III used to get all fucked up and no one cared.  Plus, we'd have a damn hard time in this day and age finding a candidate/spouse duo that didn't have a drug history, unless we start looking to superfluous creepy twits like Willard Romney and the like.

Very interesting voting trends here. yesterday it was Obama by a landslide, today its neck and neck even though the last few people who voted have voted in equal numbers for them both, which wouldnt normally be sufficient enough to change things drastically.

Even more interesting that in the space of a few minutes this morning, a  high amount of votes that were cast yesterday have now been mysteriously changed to votes in favour of McCain.

Someone's been stuffing the ballot boxes, Ronnie.....

All I know is that there are at least 23 people on this forum that know jack shit about who Obama really is. Either that or they suffer such a massive case of Bush Derangement Syndrome that they would vote for a pile of dog shit before they vote Republican. Which tells me that they definitely don't know who Obama is.

Oh yeah, and then's there's this from NRO----->

Why Did Obama Pay Rezko an Extra $64,000 For That Strip of Land?

From Steven Spruiell's must-read piece on the Rezko guilty verdict this morning:

Obama may have thought all of his interactions with Rezko were above-board, but they weren’t. One of the counts against Rezko detailed how he funneled the proceeds of an illegal kickback scheme into Obama’s 2004 Senate campaign. Rezko’s co-conspirator, a former trustee of the Illinois Teachers Retirement System (TRS) named Stuart Levine, told the jury that he directed the TRS to invest $50 million with a firm called Glencoe Capital. In exchange, Levine arranged for himself and Rezko to be paid a fraudulent $500,000 “finder’s fee.” Levine routed Rezko’s half to an associate named Joseph Aramanda in March of 2004. That month, Aramanda wrote a $10,000 check to Barack Obama’s campaign.

Of course, Obama may well not have known the details of such a shadowy transaction, and his campaign has donated that $10,000 — and all other Rezko-related money — to charity. But what became clear over the course of the Rezko trial is that this kind of scheme exemplified Rezko’s way of doing business. It’s hard to believe that Obama could be so clueless about Rezko’s character, just as it’s hard to believe that Obama sat in Jeremiah Wright’s pews for 20 years and had no idea that the man was a radical black nationalist.

Gabe Malor, over at Ace of Spades, notices Obama is using the same "he's not the man I once knew" line that he used with Jeremiah Wright.

Obama has returned $157,835 in campaign funds that Tony Rezko and his associates donated in his career.

But will he return the land that he bought from Rezko?

I can hear it now. "But Jim, this isn't a donation from Rezko to Obama," because the senator bought the land for a lot more than it was worth —  "an appraiser valued the slice of land Rezko sold at $40,500, Obama decided it would be fair to pay Rezko substantially more: one sixth of his original purchase price, or $104,000."

Precisely. Rezko "widely known to be under federal investigation at the time." Paying substantially more than the land was appraised creates the appearance of a $64,000 payment to a person who, if found guilty, could discuss his longtime association and business dealings with a U.S. senator with federal law enforcement.

The Chicago press has been trying to warn everyone about Obama, but nobody in the  DLM wants to tarnish this idiot. They have been covering for him since day one. He's their Great Black Hope! He is so fucking done when the public are forced to see just what a charlatan he really is. I, for one, can't wait to watch him loose it all! He is the most undeserving candidate in the history of presidential campaigns, and that's saying something!

Anyone that votes for Obama is an idiot. It's really that simple.

LOL! Are you trying to imply that the old canard about Harris and Jeb Bush stealing the election for G. W. Bush is true?!

C'mon now Bucky. Even the NYT had to fess up to the fact that it was Gore, not Bush, who was trying to steal that election!! This is such old news, but I guess the hard leftists still believe that something nefarious happened. Just goes to show that if you tell a lie enough times it becomes the truth even when it's not.

8 years later and some liberals still can't let go! Funny!

Gore wanted only the Democrat counties counted. Harris wanted a total recount county by county as per Florida law! Gore bitched about that and tried to imply that the election was rigged. He also tried to get the overseas votes from service members nullified.  I guess it's tough to see through partisan blinders, uh?

Yes it is good, and it begs the question. What party continually votes themselves more power and more oversight over it's citizens lives than the other party? What party believes in less government? Less heavy handed government control over Americans day to day lives?

Easy. The answer to question one is the Democrat Party. The answers to questions 2 and 3 are the Republicans, or more to the point, conservative Republicans.

You don't like the fact that the government loves to gain power and hold on to it at all costs? If you answered yes to that question then you should never ever vote for a Democrat.

Oh come now Meggy. Surley you can understand why I would point out the obvious? I mean what party wants to take over the healthcare system? What party suggested last week that it might be a good idea to federalize the oil business? What party has continually tried to gain and hold onto as much power as they can?

I think Reagan said it best.

"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."-
Ronald Reagan

Now I ask you. What party wants to raise taxes every chance they get? What party believes in regulating every business it can? What party wants to subsidize everything from healthcare to agriculture?

It's not the Republicans.

That's not being brainwashed. That's just pointing out some facts that Democrats would rather not have pointed out.

Now go back and listen to what Obama has in mind!  Jeeeeshh!

Remeber I was a registered Democrat for over twenty years. I then woke up.

LOL! Oh Meggy I would never think of you as an idiot. Uniformed? Perhaps! LOL! j/k Vote for you want to, but I'd strongly suggest that you really read what Obama wants to do. I think that if the vast majority of people that support him knew some of the things that he believed that are not being reported that they would cease with their support immediatly. It is not even a slight exaggeration to call him a Marxist. He is, as is his wife. I mean hell his church openly preached Marxisim through the tennets of Black Liberation Theology. The stuff that he believes are downright scary and more than a little unAmerican. His proposals are so far to the left that they could only be described as Marxist. I just get sick to death of the fact that this man is being held up as a Messianic type figure and his core values are being totally ignored by the media. He is the ultimate example of a cult of personality, and one with a very different worldview than most Americans.

No my dear, that I am not. I do not like politics, especially the politics we are living through right now.     Disillusioned with the shite we have in Washington..Yes I am

I do not label myself as a democrat or a republican.  I pride myself on my open mindedness.  I  make my decisions not by what the press puts out there or what my acquaintances are discussing and telling me they believe.  My decisions are and will  be based on listening and reading what the candidate is saying, promising, and doing.  It is not black or white for me.  I see in shades of color.

Well then Meggy you and I are closer to agreement than not. And no. I have not read his book, because I don't believe a word that comes out of the man's mouth. As far as I'm concerned anyone that joins a church just to get black street cred, and then stays in that same church for twenty years of racist rants and put downs of the USA is not worth my time. Which is not to say that there is anything wrong with reading it. I just ain't buyin' what he's sellin', but the media sure as hell is. Their open love affair with everything this guy does is crazy. The likes of which I have never seen before.

What are they ignoring about him? Plenty.

Like this for example from his lovely wife.--->

The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women’s Event.

Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.

Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.

Michelle Obama spoke at the Women’s Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant — his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.

For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on “whitey”, and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that’s when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who’s seen this.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Not that any of this matters to the drones that can't past his cult of personality, but I find it all disgusting personally.

Just wait until this tape hits the airwaves. At that point only a self hating "whitey" would consider punching the ticket for this Marxist.

LOL! Well they'll try like hell that's for sure. They sat on the Reverand Wright story for over a year. Hannity was reporting about that nut for a full 10 months before they even bothered to check it out. The open love affair with Obama from the likes of Chris Mathews, Tim Russert, CNN, and the rest is stunning in itis blatant bias. Just follow this link and and listen to the sound bites that Mark Levin put together on the media circle jerk over Obama. It is stunning, and they'd never ever consider doing this kind of blatant biased reporting in favor of a Republican. Just go listen. I dare ya. I double dog dare ya!

Obama is a great man! I know this because the media keeps telling me he is. So the fact that he spoke before a major Jewish group yesterday and told them that he feels that the Iranian Guard should be considered a terrorist group is a great thing! Yeah Obama! You go my man! Oh, I suppose that I should ignore the fact that he voted against naming the Iranian Guard a terrorist organization just months ago. I wonder why the media did not point out this lie?! Yes my friends it's true. Obama told a group of Jews exactly what they wanted to hear. He thinks that the Iranian Guard is a terror group today. Yet he was one of only twenty two Senators that voted against naming them as such. The bill had massive bi-partisan support, but Obama felt that naming them terrorists would be considered "saber rattling". Hmmm, I wonder why he told a major Jewish group the exact opposite. Funny too that the media completely ignored this, uhhhh.......inconsistency.

Leave Donovan and Woody Guthrie out of all this!

anyway....for my baby Riffy...

Look out your window, baby, there's a scene you'd like to catch,
The band is playing "Dixie," a man got his hand outstretched.
Could be the Fuhrer
Could be the local priest.
You know sometimes
Satan comes as a man of peace.

He got a sweet gift of gab, he got a harmonious tongue,
He knows every song of love that ever has been sung.
Good intentions can be evil,
Both hands can be full of grease.
You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

Well, first he's in the background, then he's in the front,
Both eyes are looking like they're on a rabbit hunt.
Nobody can see through him,
No, not even the Chief of Police.
You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

Well, he catch you when you're hoping for a glimpse of the sun,
Catch you when your troubles feel like they weigh a ton.
He could be standing next to you,
The person that you'd notice least.
I hear that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

Well, he can be fascinating, he can be dull,
He can ride down Niagara Falls in the barrels of your skull.
I can smell something cooking,
I can tell there's going to be a feast.
You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

He's a great humanitarian, he's a great philanthropist,
He knows just where to touch you, honey, and how you like to be kissed.
He'll put both his arms around you,
You can feel the tender touch of the beast.
You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

Well, the howling wolf will howl tonight, the king snake will crawl,
Trees that've stood for a thousand years suddenly will fall.
Wanna get married? Do it now,
Tomorrow all activity will cease.
You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

Somewhere Mama's weeping for her blue-eyed boy,
She's holding them little white shoes and that little broken toy
And he's following a star,
The same one them three men followed from the East.
I hear that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace.

WASHINGTON - President Bush's motorcade will speed through European capitals next week, but for many Europeans, the Bush presidency is already in their rearview mirrors.  :)

Trans-Atlantic relations are on the upswing. European leaders have moved beyond their anger over the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. And while anti-Bush sentiment still runs high on the streets, it is being mollified by Europeans' excitement about the race for Bush's successor.  :)

Like many Americans, Europeans have Bush fatigue! and many believe that both presumptive presidential nominees, Barack Obama and John McCain, will have different positions — perhaps more favorable — than Bush on issues important to Europe.

"I'm sure there will be some protests, but I think people are just looking past this guy at this point and they're interested in what comes next," said James M. Goldgeier, an expert on Europe at the Council on Foreign Relations. "There's no reason for any leader to give him anything because he's on the way out. You have a presidency that's losing energy, is consumed by Iraq and a president who is unpopular, in general, in Europe and people are looking beyond him."

Bush's weeklong trip to Slovenia, Germany, Italy, France and Britain is not his final goodbye to his European counterparts. He sees them again at another summit next month in Japan. Yet, as he completes the final leg of his presidency, the jaunt through central and western Europe is one of Bush's last chances to further smooth U.S.-European relations for his successor.

The trip is not expected to yield any new deals. Bush will ask for Europe's help in Afghanistan and push for stronger sanctions against Iran to discourage the U.S. rival from developing nuclear weapons. Talks also will touch on humanitarian aid, the world food crisis, climate change and economic integration of both sides of the Atlantic.
