Considering that it my favorite album to drive to, I do not usually listen to Ya Ya's dead drunk or high. Slightly drunk and kinda high, well yeah . . . . Let it Bleed is the best :weed album of all time and Exile is the best :booze album. When intoxicated I go directly to Stones. Or 45s. Playing 45s is more of a :booze thing than a :weed thing, though. |

i can help you with that. pm or mail me. drunk albums...? zz top always works, as well as sticky. of course the drunker you get, the more you are convinced that you ARE the guru of great music. that's why i never made for a very good DJ; i was having a great time, but the dance floor was always empty. Well fuck them, i'd always say (but that was usually the booze talking) |

DOORS DOORS DOORS DOORS DOORS!!!
Total Drinking Music, as tested out each tuesday evening whereby myself and a few friends drink and talk shit and listen to music (loud may i add) til around 6 or 7 in the morning (im in uni btw) doors is that depressed drunk mood, stones are total drinkin music, theyre brilliant Under My Thumb is always played each sitting, and dylans great for drinkin music, again Its All Over Now, Baby Blue is always played each time we drink - and i always have to inject a good amount of iggy/the stooges into the mix just to piss off my friends cos they hate it but totally doors, that or the blues, but the doors mix of r'n'r and blues just makes u wana drink, weird how morrisons addiction manages to break on through (sorry) the amp and make u wanna get a beer, lol HJW |

Around 12 years ago I used to travel a lot to Monterrey and the Company had an apartment for employees traveling, we used to get drunk often but my peers didn't like rock music so I used to travel with a Walkman to play some cassettes late at nigh without bothering them; my favorites to listen dead drunk were THE NEW BARBARIANS and my Lexington, KY KBFH recording of the Stones & Peter Tosh. Also Humble Pie and Frank Zappa

Just about any music from the 60's & 70's, The Doors were mentioned, I used to try to drink like Morrison, so Absolutely Live especially, but any of their music, The Stones for sure, Alice Cooper's albums from Love It To Death to Muscle of Love (the original band) especially Killer, cooper was another big boozer like Morrison (in fact he mentioned it was Morrison who taught him how to drink, in the early A.C. days, he used to hang around with Jim)
The Who, (who's next was played so much, I got used to the record, so when C.D.'s came out, I had to arrange the tracks exactly like the record) I'm so used to hearing them that way. Some of the albums mentioned of The Stones (Ya Ya's/exile) but their early 60's albums too, I mean if one is a alcoholic, every record is your favorite when your drinking. |

Sounds like someone's just discovered Ween...lol. "Red Roses For Me" is absolutely miraculous. "Morrison Hotel" is a great pick. It's hard to beat "Roadhouse Blues" for a good drinking song. |
