Title: A new Stoner....can you help? Post by Gazgow on Apr 18th, 2008 at 10:27am
Hi guys....
OK, I'm hoping for a bit of help here. I have to admit to not being a huge Stones fan. BUT, just recently have heard some of their less commercial stuff which I've liked, and liked a lot! I'm blushing [smiley=embarassed.gif] right now at the fact that I do not own a Stones album, so.... ....what I'd like to know from all you officenados out there is the best 10 to 20 tracks that sum up the Stones that I can download, add to, enjoy, and generally get the feel of their music. I do know the obvious tracks, JJ Flash etc etc, but I know there is more to appreciate. So over to you...hope you can help....cheers, Gaz. |

War horses are great ==> :warhorse
Best warhorses are Sympathy for the Devil, You can't always get what you want, Gimme Shelter, JJF, Tumbling Dice and Brown Sugar To help you with the "less commercial stuff" let us know if it's blues, rock, country, reggae, ballad or what, there's a lot of great songs that never made in on the charts |

She's So Cold.
Jumping Jack Flash live 1969. That's all you need to get started. If you don't like those, I'm very sorry. |

You should get the CD Sticky Fingers, it's classic Stones and it features Mick Taylor very nicely.
