For anyone lucky (or rich) enough to get tickets for the 'Rock n Roll Hall of Fame' concert at Madison Square Garden next week, a little birdie is telling me that there are very strong inklings of a duet between a well-known Dublin-born singer/anti-poverty activist and an English friend of his who is best known as the lead singer of a very well-known R&B combo who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2012.

Other acts confirmed for this event include : Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, CSN & Y, Simon & Garfunkel and Stevie Wonder.

There are two concerts, October 29th and 30th.
Those Irish guys are performing the second night.

A replacement act is in the works.
The aforementioned British R&B singer would do nicely in a pinch.

The two nights are being made into an HBO special to be aired on Sunday, November 29. So we can watch the 'best of' it on TV, as I'm sure they will edit it and show 'highlights'. It really is a huge line-up, so I'm excited to have a chance to see it without having to spend the big bucks!

EVERYONE IS WORKING HARD TO MAKE THIS AMAZING AND TO FIT INTO WHAT IS ALREADY GOING TO BE AN GREAT NIGHT WITH ARETHA FRANKLIN, METALLICA AND U2. Hell yeah ~ this is a very exciting gig happening! My 3 favorite men, MICK, Bono, and Lenny Kravitz all in the same room, same night, and I'll be creaming in my jeans for sure, mouth wide open, in a State of Shock! Why that song? Why NOT, it will be shocking! I'll try to sneak up close to the stage, but MSG has actual NYC cops as security and those guys are rough, so it's not easy to upgrade there. I'll have some pics and vids for Rocks Off as soon as I can unglue my panties off...ahahaha yeah it IS entirely possible......and it's been a while since I've seen MICK, so yeah, I'm ready.
