Les hago una consulta a los que están más en el tema: la serie "from the vault" es parte de la discografía oficial? es una selección directa de ellos? o vendieron los derechos de ciertas cintas (era google music en un principio, nosé si sigue así) para que las comercialicen? Gracias de ante mano.

La semana que viene me llega la edicion de BR + CD, mientras tanto consegui el audio, se escucha genialmente guitarreros, me parece que es el mejor album en vivo de los Stones en muchos años.

Esta muy bueno el show, además del setlist, la banda estaba en muy buena forma, y tenian muchas ganas de hacer ese concierto, se nota en todos, Keith toca como no lo habiamos visto desde Voodoo o Bridges.
Tips: El CD suena muy bien pero esta muy editado el tiempo entre canciones para que quepan. el Video está bueno, pero hay que acostumbrarse a ver entrevistas entre cada canción ( Tengo una versión donde editaron el orden de las canciones y quitaron las entrevistas para disfrutar el concierto de corrido en el o0rden correcto ???) El Vinil viene completito el concierto sin ediciones, estan completos los dialogos, ya lo rippie por si a alguien le interesa.

Muy pocas veces veo un show completo, voy a temas puntuales, este me engancho tanto que lo vi de principio a fin mas los extras. Es muy bueno, el mejor de la ultima etapa despues del cincuentenario, sobre todo Keith tocando como antes del cocotero, muy enganchado y concentrado. Junto al box del Totally Stripped, es lo mejor que sacaron en mucho tiempo.

ayer lo compre, realmente espectacular, me paso lo mismo; arranque por los extras, despues lo puse de arranque y hasta el fin. Quiza atrapen los comentarios de como hicieron el disco entre tema y tema, mas que hay varias canciones que nunca los habia visto tocar en vivo. El comentario de que a una isla decierta se llevarian un solo tema: Brown Sugar, exelente (no sabia que jagger y richards eran tan fanaticos de ese tema)
Sister Morphine, Moonlight Mile, I Got The Blues son lentas pero que poder tienennnnn!!! viva los rolling!!! :-X

El show del Fonda es una locura, pero para mí el box del Stripped es insuperable.

Lo vi bajo los efectos de sustancias psicotrópicas, por lo que pude tener pensamientos un tanto jumpin' jack flash.
1.- Lo había escuchado en mp3 y me pareció fenómeno, pero es verdad lo que dicen por acá: impacta el nivel de Richards. Tanto que sospeché que estuviera todo pinchado en estudio y por lo que pude ver, poniendo toda la atención que podía en mi estado, parece que no... que simplemente estaba prendido.
2.- Será por el distinto orden de temas o por tener que poner la mirada en la pantalla o no sé por qué, pero sí... es verdad que Sticky Fingers tiene sólo dos temas rápidos. Nunca lo había notado. You Gotta Move o Knocking o Sister nunca los consideré "lentos" porque son rockeritos, pero en este constepsto sí lo noté.
3.- Richards me dejó pasmado. ¿Qué se puede hacer para que mantenga ese nivel?. Porque ese recital fue relativamente reciente y antes ya no venía bien.
4.- Ron Wood sigue demostrando que él no nació para los Stones. Al revés.
5.- El nivel de Keith Richards esa noche fue casi sobrenatural. Sigo sospechando, aunque la imagen valida lo que se escucha.
6.- Parece que Mick Jagger pijotea con la obra social que cubre a los Rolling Stones y Chuck Leavel ya hizo metástasis y ahora lo tenemos al denso Denson molestando por todas partes. Creo que en esta vuelta Jagger se está equivocando fulero con los músicos que contrata. En los Stones (y casi que en la vida en general -y en teniente-) NUNCA, JAMÁS me gustó nada que no sea guitarra, bajo, batería y la armónica de Jagger, pero gente como Ian Stuart, Billy Preston, Bobby Keys o el negro de las congas aportaron cosas buenas sin joder. hasta lo meto a Darryl Jones, que no me fascina, pero tampoco me molesta.
No obstante lo cual, ver una banda integrada por una intrascendente como Sasha Allen (que en dos años ya perdió lo único que tenía de bueno: el cuerpo humano) y un trío de indeseables como Chuck Leavel, Matt Clifford y este sujeto Karl Denson... a mí... me da asco.
Denson es molesto hasta para las cámaras. En un momento se queda parado como un opa jodiendo la toma que quiere meter el director. Y lo noto con una soberbia onda "chicoz... sho zoi múzico de jazz... vengo a zalvar el ezpectáculo con miz chiflidoz de corneta, porque zi no ez todo mui bázico".
En estos pocos meses, Karl Denson me irritó tanto que ya se aseguró el 2do puesto en mi ranking de Lo peor de lo peor. Stuart, Lisa, Bobby... nunca debieron ser reemplazados. Menos por gente molesta.
7.- ¿Notaron la prestancia de Keith Richards...? Me dejó anonadado, que significa "con el culo mojado".

Lo pude ver recién este fin de semana, porque me mudé y estaba guardado en un caja junto con el reproductor... en fin. Me saqué las ganas y vi con un amigo, todo completo como en cine, sin corte y sin pausa.
TREMENDO! El nivel que tuvieron esa noche, fue como el de alemania en el 7 a 1 a brasil: cosas que no se repiten. También tuve la suerte que mi amigo tiene un gran sistema de audio y pudimos notar claramente las partes de richards y ronnie en cada parlante, uno a la izquierda y el otro a la derecha, era cuestión de moverse de acuerdo a lo que uno quería escuchar mejor. Se escucha como nunca ese tejido famoso del que hablan, ronnie mantiene la banda, el tempo, todo y richards la base, y cuando invierten roles sale tan natural que uno no se da cuenta quien hizo que cosa... impecable. Incluso hasta hay una pifia de ron, no me acuerdo en que canción, pero la banda está tan ajustada que si no lo ves de nuevo y prestás atención sólo a él, pasa sin que se note. Hasta all down the line, que ultimamente en vivo no me gusta para nada como suena (en el de Cuba es HORRIBLE), acá podría ser un audio del 70' sin problemas. Lo único que me pareció con gusto a poco, son las anécdotas sobre el disco. Arranca bien con el tema de la tapa, pero después como que se diluye y hay temas incluso de los que no se comenta nada. Hubiese estado bueno agregar, en los extras quizás, un poco más de material sobre esto, incluso el libro del box cuenta muchas cosas que podrían haber utilizado, ni hablar de alguna pregunta a Mick Taylor.

Otra cosa que pensé es que hace ya décadas que son viejos y ahora, directamente, son ancianos. Cada vez que lo pienso, viendo los gestos de Charlie o la mascareta de goma que Keith Richards tiene en lugar de rostro, me conmuevo.
Como cuando pensaba que mi vecina de 764 años ya era adulta... ANTES DE LA TV. Y que fue contemporánea de la 2da Guerra Mundial.
Estos señores siguen cambiando medio planeta de una u otra forma.
