I don't think we'll be seeing any new music.

Bit of a clickbait headline, but I almost choked on my coffee when he said 'its early days'  when talking about  the new album

'Blue & lonesome' came about when they admitted to 'hitting a wall' when recording new material.

That was In December 2015.

FFs guys, admit that the inspiration is gone and stop torturing the likes of Ian.  Its cruel.

Yeah, it's been pretty much over for new material for a long time.

Not including the cover album...2 new songs since 2006? The forgettable D&G and OMS?

Think they were making bonus tracks for future repackages of old material, under some contractual stipulation.

Get Yer Ya-Yas Out is now Get Yer Wallets Out.

A new album has been in the works for a long time but I'm still hopeful they will squeeze one more album out! Grin

More like the incentive is gone...its a dark and cold world out there for the true recording artist...IF they wanted to they could just record and release 2 new songs every few months...with todays model...recording a full album is just not worth it...this is the time of disposable music...timeless classics and full albums are Jurassic at this point...

the money and fame comes from touring and merch...and they have this down to an art form... they  made their cake and now its dessert time too...
