Seeking Fusion Magazine on Brian Jones Death. Or at least the poem.

Alert Board Moderator about this Post!
Soon after Brian Jones died I wrote a poem commemorating him. This poem was sent into Fusion (a rock tabloid of the time) and they accepted it. It was published with Brian's picture in the memorial issue.

I have long since lost my copy of Fusion and all copies of the poem which I have, with the advent of age, forgotten. If anyone here has access to a copy of the Brian Jones memorial edition and can supply me with the words from the poem I would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Gerard Van der Leun

PS here's a picture of the cover.

“What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there,” he says. “All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy. There’s an enormous market for people who can’t tell one note from another.” - Keef

Thanks for those but all have been sold and I've written to some folks on Ebay but so far no joy. This is a hard magazine to find.

Hi Gerard, welcome again

A copy will be enough? I know a collector that surely has that one, if a copy is good let me know to contact him to see the possibility of a copy

Other recommendation is to create a “Saved search” on eBay with the right keywords

Good suggestions.... my voodoo child... a copy would do. A copy of the poem alone. Or a transcription. I'm trying to put together a 'collected works' for my kids.

Thanks.
