Chris Jagger: Guitar & Vocals
Chris Jagger needs little introduction to most followers of the Ealing Club. As a musician who began his career in the early 1970’s he will be making his first visit to the tiny basement venue in Ealing Broadway.
Having played the Ealing Blues Festival (Walpole Park) he has also written a three part radio series on the influence of Alexis Korner the pioneering blues musician and broadcaster whose ‘R & B’ nights in Ealing became the stuff of legend.
As a performer and songwriter Chris has been influenced by Blues, Rock as well as Cajun music, Zydeco, Folk Music and Country Music.
His recent compilation “All The Best” provides just a glimpse into an extensive back catalogue of music that will be on offer and delivered by his talented and experienced group of musicians attending on the 24th March 2018. These include:

Elliet Mackrell: Fiddle
As a Classically trained violinist Elliett performs folk based music from Ireland & Europe and was a founding member of ‘Kangaroo Moon’. She appears with the Polkaholics and Chris Jagger's acoustic trio.
David Hatfield: Bass
One of the UK’s most respected bass players, David began playing bluegrass in 1967 with the Morris Boys and became the resident double bassist on several BBC Radio Shows and the Cambridge Folk Festival from 1977 to 1995.
He has since played and toured with an a host of bluegrass legends including: Mac Wiseman, Jerry Douglas, Mark O’Connor, Bill Keith, Jim Rooney, Peter Rowan, Flaco Jimenez, Arlo Guthrie, Tex Logan, Greg Douglas, Gordon Titcomb, Rose Maddox, Don Stover, Bill Clifton, Orrin Star, Pete Sayers, Jim Couza, Ben Waters, Diz Watson, Pete Stanley, Ced Thorose, Roger Knowles, Malcolm Price, Brian Golbey and the Kursaal Flyers.
Charlie Hart: Piano
Inspired by blues, jazz and African music, he has worked with Alexis Korner, Ian Dury, Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton and Charlie Watts. He produced Orchestra Virunga and Diz and the Doormen, composed music for the Oscar-nominated animated film Triangle and appeared in the feature film Stormy Monday. Besides working with Chris and the band, Charlie is currently concentrating on producing roots and jazz artists in his own Equator Studios, London.

Les has been drumming around the world for the past 40 years. During his travels he has been the drive behind some really great performers, both in live venues and in the recording studio.
He worked extensively with Joanne Kelly and performed with Alexis Korner, two of England's premier blues artists. Also with Chris Farlow, Mickey Jupp, Roy St John and Dana Gillespie to name but a few.
