I disagree...however, you are correct, that list is not a list of singles material...its a list of actual singles.
Bands/Record companies release albums...EPs...and singles with singles as stand-alone items to be purchased and considered for airplay.
The are released (because of their "commercial hit potential") with the hopes that they chart and carry overall album sales further once the album is actually released. That is why singles are often released a month or 2 BEFORE the album...to build up steam and anticipation for the entire album.
Plundered was released to carry sales of the Exile Reissue.
Having said that, There were 7 songs from Blue & Lonesome that were NOT released as singles, that did chart in the US, all due to the current music distribution/availability models (iTunes, Spotify, other electronic mediums) on the US Billboard Digital Blues Charts
