Street Fightin' Man original single version - different vocal track and mix?

It sounds to me like the original single version has a different vocal take (Mick's vocal is clearly different to me, and his vocals have a weird echo/double track effect going on) and also a different sound-mix (the sitar and tambura are clearer in the mix and I think you can hear echoes of Charlie's drum kit). Am I alone in saying the vocal tracks and mix are different from the LP cut??
