Hi there what a night!!
we managed to stand on the barrier of the general fos, 10 meters behind our first place in gold fos of the 10/22 show.
We had the pleasure to meet a young argentinian fan, who did the travel to attend his first Stones show. so we took him with us, had food and beers together. It was an honor for us to welcome Franco in France!
Crowd seemed more concerned than on last show.
May be the excitement of the last tour date...
Anyway, the show began with a casual sympathy that should not be played anymore, due to Keef performance on this track..No proper solo, just a few notes.
Ronnie filled up and we were happy when it ended.
Unlike on last show, Keef did a perfect IORR , and the band followed.
Everybody seemed really "in" this night!
Jagger is wonderful, sings better than ever.
Charlie kept the beat and stood awake...he was closed to sleep on a few songs on previous show, but he was in a superb form for this last show. Many variations on his playing, many swing !
Ronnie fills up Keef Parts and add crazyness on nice solos.. TD, Happy, YCAGWYW, all done perfectly...The only exception was on SMU, where he went on a typical bordeline Ronnie solo.
He stole the show on the blues tracks with nice slide parts, shared with Micks harps parts.
she's a rainbow and she's so cold were nice suprises, even if Rescue was our vote choice.
On she's so cold, Keef did a great job, and the old art of weaving was back on top.
Highlights:
The UArena: fantastic place, huge with a great sound.
The screening was also fantastic.
The band: Sharp, in great mood. The sidemen were hot. Special mention to Horns and Bernard Fowler.
Darryl Jones, who refused to take a pic with us in front of their Hotel, is now on my blacklist, as talented as he is.
Don t want to talk about him anymore. He may have forgotten who paid him with tix and merchandise..let's forget him !!
Rainbow, TDice ,IORR, YCAGWYW...perfect !
the Keef set : Unlike previous tour, there were a lot of emotion in Keef words, and the 2 songs were superbs. Slipping away was great..Like your old winter pull over...warm and tender
SFM: they could play it for 20 minutes...best riff ever and powerful guitars...even if the previous version was better.
They had a bit of confusion in chords at the end, but nothing important as the song was incredibly intense and speed.
Same with Brown sugar and JJF.
...
Anyway, great performance, great crowd and great place!
BUT...just a last thing...this girl, Sasha Allen.
she sucks !! she' s a shouter not a singer.
On stage, no interaction at all with Bernard.
Lisa seems missed a lot by him, which I easily understand.
Sasha looks like an erasmus student lost with adults.
We saw her instagram and except drinking cocktails she has no life on the tour.
On 10/25 it was quite ok...but on sunday show, she looked tired and her part was mediocre on GS.
ps: about our RO summit. Great to meet SV and Peter, Egon and friends and Bitch! Too many wine..the way back to the hotel was chaotic
Many thanks guys for this nice party !!!
see ya my friends! London 2018 may be
cheers !!!
ps: How lucky are we , in 2017, having our fav band still on the run..never forget this!!!
