was flippin through the channels the other night and started to watch SERPICO a movie i havent seen in a long time. my folks  brought me along to see it when it came out i was a little young to go by myself. maybe not a big picture in the publics eye but a great story and its fantastic as a historical study of new york back in the day. watch it if you havent

so i watch the film all the way till the end and the final scene is with serpico and his dog sittin along the piers that used to be on the hudson and crowded that are mostly gone and the elevated freeway which is gone and there is the friggin SS FRANCE one of the greatest liners ever to sail. i was on that ship a few years previous with my family! gotta get mom the DVD.
