I was getting worried about my cat, Piper, as he was missing all day yesterday. He showed up early this morning. It was hilarious. He looked like he was trying to swim through the snow. He couldn't see where he was going though and veered off in the wrong direction. I was having to call to him from the doorway, "Come on, Piper, this way. Follow Mommy's voice!" He finally found the steps and came inside.

In WDC, its already over a foot of snow, and still snowing hard with strong winds. Very Dangerous conditions.

My dog didn't want to venture outside this AM to do his business. I threw a Pup-O-Roni into the snow drift in the back yard, and he went after it. The snow is already up his nose--and he's a large dog.

Why is it that the whole world shuts down when New York gets a few snowflakes? Here in "flyover country", we get 12 feet of snow every other week and you don't see constant coverage on CNN.
