hello all
need help from any musicians who have played cover music for years, or at least anyone with a good ear.
the current band (Petty tribute) I'm in does a medley in the middle of our show in the key of A - we chug along at a steady tempo and crack off choruses and famous verses from as many songs as we can in about 3 minutes....all the songs have the same beat as well. Each guy picks a song and sings what he wants to sing. Usually included in the medley are:
All Right Now Cat Scratch Fever God Save the Queen Funkytown Carry On Wayward Son
For my verse, I've done Get Back (and Get Up & Go), You May Be Right, Honky Tonk Women, Let's Go (Cars), Electric Avenue, Rockin' Me...and I'm running out of ideas. Anyone know any tunes that are easy to play, in the key of A (G or B would be fine as well), and chug along at the same tempo as these tunes?
TIA!
