Playing it daily and still loving it.  You know a record is good when you get up to pee in the middle of the night and a song is rattlling around in your head " why should we break up, some kind of shake up ..................

It stands up to the old tried and true repeated listens test. It covers a lot of ground and pulls it off well. Sure, there's some familiar sounds, but it has its own identity as an album I think. An excellent record.  I play it often and enjoy it every time.

I'm still spinning it daily in my car!

Just not a huge fan of robbed blind,
and as said before Irene is dreadful.

And a bit strange how it opens with crosseyed heart,
which to me is more a song to end the album with..

I was going to the store and was gonna pop in CH. Then realized I left it in the basement. I turned around and went back to get it.

There are no other record stores or online retailers?

Yeah sure, but I dont do online purchases due to identity theft 4 different times so I go shopping. After 5 different stores I found a Best Buy who had 2 copies left, I think they only stocked 12 per store. Anyway I was not always a big fan of KEEF's solo efforts in the past, but I like this one. The true test for me is listening to it at different times of day and different states of mind. I like it in the morning, when I'm calm. Not so much after work, when it seems too slow or dare I say boring. It's too low key when I'm drunk, but when I'm stoned I appreciate it the most, its very thoughtfully put together and KEEF has an ironic side which I love. This is my favorite KEEF solo album.

On the weekends and holidays, of course! And if I go out to concerts/parties/social events on weeknights.

What I meant was, the test of a good album is listening to it during different states of mind and liking it all or most of the time.

Keith Richards has revealed the video for his latest solo single.

'Long Overdue' will be released on December 11 and featured on ‘Crosseyed Heart’, Richards' album released earlier this year. The album is the Rolling Stones guitarist's first solo effort in over 20 years.

'Crosseyed Heart' follows Richards' previous individual efforts 'Main Offender' (1992) and 'Talk Is Cheap' (1988).

Strange choice, some radios are playing "Heartstopper" right now, it debuted at #46 on Billboard's Mexico Ingles Airplay this week.

My favorite is "Substantial Damage." One of those songs that made me immediately think "Oh, yeah, I know how that feels." "Robbed Blind" is interesting in that it sounds like something that actually happened.

something for nothing should be a single.

I like to pretend that it could do well in the charts.

Listening tonight to Crosseyed Heart with the benefit of Grey Goose, it strikes me that I will burn my CD-R with the last three tracks in this order:

13) Lover's Plea
14) Substantial Damage
15) Goodnight Irene

Check it and see.

Also, the Lee "Scratch" Perry overdub version of Love Overdue has been heretofore underrated in excitement value.  Starting with Keith.
