Stones songs for school kids !!

Howdy ya'll !

Newlywed wifey & I are trying to come up with an appropriate Stones song to play for the kids on the first day of school tomorrow.
Middle school kids, age range about 11-13.
The song will most likely be played as a YT video on her promethian board.

I wish they still had chalk boards.
I miss the looks on the classroom's faces as I ran my fingernails across those boards.  LOL

How about some help here?

Sway
Paint It, Black
Mother's Little Helper
Rocks Off
Before They Make Me Run
Midnight Rambler

It's great to get kids into the Stones, before some religion like the goddam Mormons gets all up in their heads with their twisted, perverse life views.  It's a Stones mental inoculation, in a sense.

Just a few ideas:

Get Off Of My Cloud
19th Nervous Breakdown
Happy (maybe?)
Miss You (one of the first I heard and I was 2 or 3)

Or you could do a ballad like Ruby Tuesday or Moonlight Mile.

My Glimmer Twins had/still have the Rolling Stones Lullaby CD.

Whenever they hear the original, they totally recognize it and love it!!
The music has been hardwired into their developing brains...(mwha-ha-ha)

My girls seem to like Goats Head Soup, ER, Black and Blue and a few of Marko's mixes that I have in the car.

Do them a favor and give them a real education. Keep them home and play Exile in its entirety.

If it helps, the first Stones song I heard [after having had 'Satisfacton' conveniently stuck in my subconscious from past lives] is 'Time is on my side. [By the way, this is the only song I ever dared to karaoke to.] This version.

If the kids don't like it, to hell with them. Play them Metal Machine Music, all sides, and tell them to write an essay of two thousand words.

11 - 13, or thereabouts. Middle school age in the U.S.

Song hasn't been played yet, so there's still time for suggestions.  really?

Stray Cat Blues would be looked on favourably nowadays.  I think it's where Mick's knighthood was forged.

I have friends who do that...I always want to punch them in the face because they are not Stones fans...I get insulted and wonder why they dont use some song by Sting or Dwight Yokum which they both love to death...for the record, I would never punch you Bitch...

OK, finally, the winner(s) were:

You Can't Always Get What You Want (good lesson for the kids)

....and as an added bonus, Dandelion (the girls loved it while the boys just sat in their desks with a look of bewilderment)  stu-smiling
