Hope they play “Far Away Eyes”, during the Bridges to Babylon/No Security tours the Stones played it once and it was in Nashville, they had more than 20 years without playing it and that version is great, that was the hardest to find boot from that tour too

So why not? Let’s wait, it’s not an option to vote but I guess they will play it again

Wow. From a quick glance at all Boards and Facebook, on the scene reports ALL Stones were present at the Mercy Lounge Tribute show for the Bobby Keys!!! Mick and Lizzie, Keith, Patti and Theo, Charlie and Charlotte, & Ronnie were in a roped off VIP area and although none performed they did sit together for a good part of the performance and during the slide show tribute to Bobby, Mick and Keith stood together.

A post from Shidoobee:

"The only persons in the touring company that were not confirmed ( via a very nice couple I spoke to who were part of the production company and who brought "Exiled In Nash Villa" with them through the door for free) were Lisa and the French Horn dude. I personally saw Mick & Keith inside the Velvet Rope area. I spoke to Bernard as he arrived through the crowd. Hopes were high for a Stones finale but it was not to be. On Stage for various songs were Daryl (playing lead guitar on the warm up jam song),Bernard (vocals for several songs) Chuck on keyboards and vocals, Tim doing lots of horn duty. Glen also on horn. It was a great show regardless of the Boys lack of stage time. The Bastards killed lots of Stones songs. The songs were all part of their long standing repertoire with Bobby as a member. Everything from "The Wanderer" (Dion) to CYHMK and everything else. Very hot, very sweaty, and verrrry cool show. No reports of anyone asking for a refund of their $5.00 admission price. Bobby's horn was even there onstage and at one point his son played it along with Tim & Glen. All in all, a perfect prelude to tomorrow night.

Report from Bobby's tribute show.
The event was terribly unorganized, long lines with 3 different shows going on at the venue last night. The person in charge was a young twerp on a power trip. Several people hanging around looking for tickets, very few, if any, being sold. LOTS of familiar faces in the crowd, Stones friends from all over. So we finally get inside, I see the "roped off" area and I try to stay close to that but ended up being pushed up to front of stage because it was super crowded. Everyones heads were turning towards the VIP area to watch the boys but nobody interfered, and it looked like everyone was happy to be there. A very nice slide show on a big screen with Bobby pics from his whole life opened up the show. Very touching, his son came out and thanked everyone for being there. There was a 40 minute "jam" not really a song, then a break. Appearances from Darryl, Tim, Chuck, Bernard, not all at the same time, with other various musicians playing Bobby's songs. Everyone rocked, it was 95 degrees inside, I would describe it as "a mad house in Nashville". My phone went dead just before I got inside, sorry no pics available.

Nice, although a bit of a sign of the times when fans get overjoyed that Mick and Keith are sitting in a roped off area at a gig within a few feet of each other when the natural reaction would be to wonder why they didnt get on to a stage and play for even one song.

Think of the positive publicity - not least for Bobby's family - had that happened.

Still, its good that an event like this was organised. Sounds like a memorable night.
