I clicked the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions on the bottom right and saw the name Ticketek.

they've now posted this 'Stonesism' (awful name) thing on facebook asking people to sign up. Needless to say, no hints at what it may be.

Probably met the same fate as the rs.com competition in late 2007 when the guy who ran the site phoned me from New York to get us to help them with a band -authenticated promotional push for the 'Biggest Bang' DVD telling us that the site who got most people to buy the boxed set (which had already been out for five months and which most Stones fans had already bought) would win a couple of tickets for the premiere of Shine A Light in New York (we had planned to enter everyone who bought the DVD into a draw and allocate the tickets to the winner)

And then they moved the goalposts and decided that not only would they not reveal how many copies each fansite managed to shift but they wouldnt even publicly announce the winners.

In other words - the whole thing was an officially sanctioned scam. No such prize existed.

We question the validity of that contest and it was announced today...as if TPTB, said, "OPPS! We better do something...we are being watched!!"

I am happy for the winner...really, I am...but I think that would be the worst show to go see...simply because of the GA factor...no other...its just me...its not like there is a slope down to the stage...just an endless sea of heads...
Just not me bag. And to be honest...there is still no official mention of tickets to the winner for the show...
