The Grammys are so weird.

Best new album I heard all year was Jenny Lewis' 'The Voyager'. Was it even nominated?

14. BEST ROCK SONG
"Ain't It Fun," Hayley Williams & Taylor York, songwriters (Paramore)

Would this be a cover of the Dead Boys song from their second album?

Isn't "Stay With Me" the song so much like "I Won't Back Down" The Writer Had To Give Credit to Petty?

Dunno. Just listened to , uhm, "Stay With Me" - similar chord progression to Petty's tune on the chorus, like that's never happened in the history of music before.

Goddamn, that's some awful shit. I thought young people were supposed to draw on good old music of yore and then build something even better from it. What manner of soulless zombie likes that shit? (listened to two other Sam Smith songs and they're all the same dreadful soap opera soundtrack muzak).

100% correct. Yet it still goes on to win the top prizes of the night; which common sense tells me, Mr. Petty should also share.

Aye, that was the most boring Grammys ever.

Every song except the Little Red Wagon one sounds like some bad Elton John arranged Lion King song.

Kanye West is one stupid motherfucker.

I Think Petty and Jeff Lynne get 12.5%

AC/DC opened the show and I was in shock because their career was supposed to be over due to Angus Young's crippling illness -?

Madonna stole the show, she is still over the top!

I also enjoyed Pharrel! He always tries to be different.

Congrats to Lisa Fischer, was she there? I didn't see her.
