Wish they would follow Dylan's model and play minor league baseball stadiums...it seems there is much money to be made that way...but then again, the timing is all wrong since the Boys of Summer will be in full force

I'd be surprised if theres no Ohio show this time. I'd heard Cleveland mentioned previously, but that'd be even nicer for some of our regulars if its Columbus instead.

State College has also been mentioned as a possible show for Pennsylvania although the indications seem to be it'll be Pittsburgh.

Yeah, seems a strange one unless they bring back the '2 for 1 student discounts' that they used to pad out the cheap seats in stadiums on the fall 2006 leg.

I'd actually heard both State College and Pittsburgh mentioned but if theyre only playing the usual amount of shows (15-16 or so) that sounds implausible.

I think we'd like to believe in the romanticism of the rest of the band holding that view, but I'm not convinced of it personally. Either its a band decision to play these enormodomes for silly prices or the other three just delegate it to Mick to work out the deals with the promoters that always seem to ensure a tour is geared towards megabucks above every other priority.

Mick's the easy target for any dissatisfaction over their MO because he's personified as the hard nosed businessman, but theyre all culpable for either agreeing to go along with it or not giving enough of a shit to push for a change.

The Stones had trouble moving the higher priced tickets in Philadelphia from what I recall. Playing 4 hours west of Philadelphia in a traditional college town doesn't sound like the way to sell out a show unless these shows feature cheap tickets.
