Lenny Kravitz is the "mystery act" for the final Sunday of the 2015 New Orleans Jazz Fest. Kravitz will perform on the festival's final Sunday, May 3. He'll likely appear on the Acura Stage in front of Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and Orleans Avenue.

The identity of the final 2015 Jazz Fest headliner has been the subject of much speculation since the rest of the roster was released in January.

Kravitz, who lived for a time in a house on Dauphine Street in the French Quarter, has not performed at Jazz Fest in more than a decade.

He joined Katy Perry during her recent Super Bowl halftime show performance to sing Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" and contribute an extended guitar solo.

Other previously announced artists appearing at the 2015 Jazz Fest include Elton John, The Who, Jimmy Buffett, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, No Doubt, Keith Urban, Pitbull, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, T.I., The Meters and hundreds more.
