Instead half of it consisted of shouty, three minute, three chord guitar based rockers. Most of which were recorded around 1977-79 when punk was at it's height.

And most of the other half were ballads which pre-dated the entire genre.

which in rebuttal, I say rhetorically, tell me more about an experience you haven't had… seems like a really bad argument when discussing the impact of a genre of music that changed music for decades!!! But I like Moonie, so whatever!

Hold on, my comment that you are referring to was in response to the rock is dead sub-theme here. With respect to "punk never happened" statement, I am in complete agreement with Gazza: "thank fuck it happened."

Many white people didn't show up for those GREAT Bluesmen anyway.

So fuck racism also cause Blues fucking ROCKS.

Blues is my 2nd favorite music btw.
