L&G is musically excellent, but could have been filmed better.
As a concert movie, Live in Texas '78 is superior. Texas 78??? Are you people with just poor taste or tards? SG/Texas is an abysmal album, pretty much Love You Live part 2. The tour was great, yeah yeah, Mick sang in tune, there were inflatables and shit (although still the guitar solos on 78 are just terrible; something might have happened when they returned with Flashpoint, which still sorta sound 'eh' to me, and the tour, where Ronnie and Keith improved - Keith's for sure; his AC 89 concert is fuckin' phenomenal hmmm? Mate, I think you're thinking of the '75-'76 tours with the inflatable cocks. And the 'Some Girls '78' album (DVD/CD) sounds nothing like 'Love You Live' at all. Kindly, Mr Y...refer to this: http://rocksoff.org/cgi-bin/messageboard/YaBB.pl?num=1407577364/25#25perhaps you missed this little rant on another thread...my response was was meant as a lampoon of these posts...
