Yesterday, Multiplatinum Album and Grammy Award Winning Singer, Lupillo Rivera was spit on by anti-immigrant protesters.

Watching the fantastic Police documentary "Can't Stand Losing You" the band used to get spit on and have gobs of phlegm dripping down their drums, guitars and clothing... Disgusting. Glad it didn't catch on too awful much...

Indeed. It made me realize that The Police never left me...
I was thankful for 'One More Shot' to see them in 2007-2008...actually 4 or 5 more shots...I'm still recovering financially but they needed my money!

In the United States, the term "person of color" is used to describe minorities. It not only refers to black people, but also Latinos and Asians.

Anyone that is not of pure European descent is considered a person of color.

P.S. The guy that spit on Lupillo Rivera. The CHP officer that beat up the poor, black, homeless lady. They do not represent the majority of hardworking, law-abiding, Americans.

A point of clarification. The majority of Americans are not hardworking. Most are slackers and whiners. I know your characterization as to who the guy who spit on Lupullo Rivera represents was only as to the relatively small minority of Americans who actually are hard workers, but it needed to be clearer.
