She must've been an amazing person… Mick Jagger loved her very much, he's Mick "fucking" Jagger!!!
I've lost friends to suicide, but never a lover… I can't imagine… this is one of those things, that if you haven't had the experience, you're not able to understand, and I have to remember that. Trying to talk about and give advice on an experience I've never had is futile, and pointless… Like others, I'm so glad his family is there… in the end, all we have is our friends, family and a nice meal… that's all life is.

This is all so pathetic - and I don't mean that in the cynical or derogatory sense, but rather the literal and heartbreaking sense. And why such feelings for people you've never met and were and are "fabulously well to do" (to quote Mr. Vonnegut)?
That all their monies, all their power, all their influence couldn't protect or save L'Wren - somehow that seems truly tragic, in the Shakesperian sense perhaps, but shows something essential, something profound, about the fragile human condition, about all life on earth.

One of the things this tragic passing showed is how shoddy journalists are these days. In one of these articles, it was stated that Mick lives in LA. I don't think he has ever lived in LA. He may have spent extended periods there for recording and what not, but he certainly doesn't live there, especially now. His permanent base has been London for ages now and it just makes you realize that if a mistake is made about something so simple, the other stuff is also probably totally made up crap.

Thanks for posting! This is the first time I think I may have heard any of the Richards daughter speak. You could tell how much she respects her father's work. She spoke in a way as if she was part of the band...I believe I heard her say "we" at some point.

Bill Wyman has put his rocky relationship with Sir Mick Jagger aside and reached out to his former Rolling Stones bandmate in the aftermath of L'Wren Scott's suicide. Jagger has been in mourning since his partner of more than a decade took her own life while the band was on tour in Australia last week (beg17Mar14). Wyman was rumoured to have fallen out with Jagger in 2012 after the singer refused to let him play more than two songs at a comeback gig in London that year, but he has put their differences aside and offered his condolences to his former colleague following Scott's funeral in Los Angeles on Tuesday (25Mar14). The veteran rocker tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "My wife and I can only offer our deepest condolences to Mick and hope he is doing well."

Didn't the Hell's Angels try to kill Jagger too? That's why I dislike the Hell's Angels. Many of them are fat or portly.

Jagger has top notch protection. HIM is hard to assassinate. Scott must have been out of her cotton-pickin' mind to think she could pull this off. No one has taken out a Stone since the summer of '69.

Maybe it's me because I have been busy with school and life...but I am glad
to not have heard anything about the funeral. I know it was in LA...Ms Scott was cremated and remains were split between
Mick and her brother. No Hollywood hoopla, vampire paparazzi ...no who 's who attendees list etc...
