I was thinking about what to compare the "Mars" act to, and that comes pretty close, IMO.

Actually, I think the halftime show was better than the game itself.
In fact, I'm rather pissed off that I bothered watching such an underwhelming game.

Was Seattle really that good, or was Denver really that bad? I'm thinking the latter.
Easy to say since I was pulling for Denver, but it should have been a closer game.

I just don't understand why so many Superbowls wind up being blowouts, and I blame the losing teams for making those happen.
If you can make it to the Superbowl, you should be able to at least put up a good game.

How about another new rule?
Any team losing a Superbowl by 21 points or more, loses their head coach and general manager for the following year.
If they have to handle the players with kid gloves these days, then let the coaches & cigar-smoking executives take the heat.

One of the big digs at KC during our 9-0 run was that we had the softest schedule in the NFL. Denver is in our division, so they had the same schedule as we did except for 2 games. Question really is, was Denver EVER as good this year as everyone said or was it their schedule against bad teams that made them look so good?

Even though - that was a horse choking a feather for sure.
