We have a lot of rumours about shows in Mexico and Argentina in our message board in Spanish http://www.rocksoff.org/foroes/

However, now we have a "confirmation" that the Stones WILL play in Colombia in March 2014, either in Bogotá or Medellín

Wait a minute... For your information during the ABB Tour 2005-2007, Monterrey, México was the second show in prices based on weighted average, the most objective way to meassure the gross income from a show, that is mutiply seats times price of each section and then divide between the total seats.

Also Monterrey was the show with the the biggest gross profit as the venue is a stadium (60,000 sold out)

BTW... Mexico was in the recent G8 Summit in Belfast some weeks ago and has been in the recent years without exception...

We got the 50th. It was great ..You proved you could still tour. You did some wonderful things and performed for us all in The States and at a few key places in England.

Give us an album THEN go to Columbia ... Australia ...or wherever you want. How bout getting into the studio again for something next year?? We WANT a new album!!!!! What part of this don't you get? It will be NINE years. Aerosmith is bad enough ... but you guys are getting to their level of studio inactivity -

Los rumores de tener a la banda británica The Rolling Stones en Colombia son cada vez más fuertes. La presentadora y periodista del Canal Caracol, Diva Jessurum informó que el empresario Fernán Martínez sería el encargado de traer a los rockeros a Bogotá. NOw the information comes from Daniel Grinbank, the one who took the Rolling Stones to Argentina in 1995, 1998 and 2006

He already made the offer to Joyce Smith, there will be 10 shows in South America in 6 countries:Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, Perú y Colombia

IY WILL BE AT THE END OF 2014 so this means that there will be action on other countries before goin' south

A while back, I saw a documentary about this poor Columbian farmer whose fields were sprayed by the DEA. He had planted beans, corn, squash, food for his family! In minutes it was all gone! And, his little girl was accidently sprayed and she went blind for a few days! It was so sad!

Bogota, Oct 24 (EFE).- The legendary rock and roll band The Rolling Stones are to perform in the Colombian city of Medellin in 2015 as part of a South American concert, Mayor Anibal Gaviria has announced.

Gaviria said the city had worked hard to include Medellin on the Stones itinerary, but did not disclose the date of the concert.

It will be the first concert in Colombia by the British group.

"We hope that official notice will be provided by the concert organizers along with the exact date," Gaviria told Caracol Radio.

According to local press reports, the concert is to take place in the second half of 2015.

Such international pop stars as Madonna and Beyonce have performed in Medellin.

Considered one of the greatest bands in the history of rock, The Rolling Stones was founded in 1962 by Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ian Stewart, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts.

Changed the date in the subject to '2015'. A bit confusing as its been going on for a while and there have been quite a few threads on this tour.

Have things changed (or will they change) in Argentina regarding exporting money to the point where shows there are likely to happen?

As the plans for the spring tour basically collapsed due to the Argentinian economy, how feasible is a Latin American tour if they cant visit their biggest market there?
