It is definitely from the KB Halle April 1966.

Bent Rej dates them to that time in his own book.

Also, they didn't us the Guild and non reverse Gibson Firebird shown in the photo until the Aftermath sessions. Keith also used a sonic blue Telecaster.

He didn't play on any songs during 1967 European tour.

Once he was asked to step down in 1963 and that was finalised it seems he didn't play live with them (hidden or in view) again until the 1969 USA tour.

There is an exception during a live 1965 Ready, Steady Go tv appearance where he plays piano (out of sight) during Oh Baby (We Got A Good Thing Going).

Interesting to note that A (out of sight) small horn section was used for That's How Strong My Love Is.

Philip, Stu toured with the Stones for years. Stu played piano on every Stones show/tour from the beginning in 1962 up to and including the 1971 British tour.

For example, here is Stu playing on stage live with the stones

Ian “Stu” Stewart, Louisville, Ky, November 14, 1964. In this photo, Stu is playing live with the Rolling Stones, this day the Stones played without Brian Jones!

I long assumed he did play, but looking in to it I found little to no evidence he played much with them live.

If I remember right, Stu is not heard on any of the concert recordings from the Jones era.

He toured as road manager, but it doesn't mean he played with them, I see and hear no real proof he did as any kind of regular thing during 1964 - 1967. Especially regarding the Summer 1966 USA tour, Autumn 1966 UK tour and the spring 1967 European tour.

Would gladly have this view proved wrong. I wish he had played with them all the time!!!
