What's your opinion of this band? Just out of curiosity. I always liked this song for some reason. It seems to me to be a very well crafted song ....(But what do I know? ....that's a rhetorical question so no need to answer it... LOL) Anyway just googling around I discovered that the singer's brother is the lawyer that defended Jack Kevorkian.

i just remember that one summer in 1979- with my sharona and you can't put a price on love (kind of beast of burden vibe)
i don't know a whole lot about them - but that was a great summer...
i was 13, pre-stones-obsessed (That happened at the end of that year), had just started playing guitar, had just gotten into rock and roll and my sharona played like every hour and for better or worse, will always be a part of that memory for me.....riding in my cousin's car and jamming to that
GREAT guitar solo break in the middle of the song......

Actually I was in 30's then and had been fortunate to have lived through the great band eras of the 60's.I had also seen 3 Stones tours by then and therefore the repetitive thump of My Sharona just seemed so lame.But hey if you enjoyed it thats great.
