Hadn't for a while, but picked it up again last year for the first few songs of his sets.
Played it as recently as the last leg of the NET that ended in March.

Maybe he's put it down again... Sad

So are you going tonight, TTM?

I don't know. I won't know for sure until my nephew shows up here in a couple hours. That last I knew, as of about 10PM last night, that it's not sold out.

A couple of nice inclusions from Time Out of Mind, but otherwise its pretty much along the lines of last year's shows...and without the added bonus of Bob playing guitar on a few songs unfortunately.

Some new (or long lost)  songs would be welcome. Quite what appeal Bob continues to see in 'Tweedle dee' is lost on me.

I think the guitar problem is a physical problem with his arm....Sad And my husband, a HUGE fan, says he doesn't want to hear him sing in person again. Bob's band is great, but he is becoming a shell of what he used to be.....

It's his oblique US election year song.  He's playing it for everybody who may be obliquely listening,

I've always saw it as an election song too, but there hasnt been a US presidental election EVERY year since 2001.

It does fucking seem like it sometimes, though....  Interesting stuff Ronnie!

Depends what youre comparing it to. Compared to the shows from the early 90s - the real nadir of his performing career, his current shows are Rolling Thunder-esque.

Arm?  No way, he has no physical problems (other than his legs get tired and he sometimes shakes them out while on stage) that I can see.  He LOVES, let me repeat, he LOVES to play the keyboard....and is much happier on it cause for one thing he can dance with it, and he does.  I don't get why it's such a shock to so many that he doesn't prefer to play the guitar these days.  Piano and harp are more his thing.

"Shell", criminey he's more active now than ever.  Writing books, doing Theme Time, and touring at age 67 (on the 24th he turns 67), he's kicking my ass.  He's no shell.

xxoo,

While I myself am no longer attending Dylan shows for reasons of diminishing returns (my last one was in '04) I can verify this statement based solely on the bootleg evidence.  I started going to Dylan shows in '89, and from the time G.E. Smith left the band until right around TOOM things could get pretty grim up on that stage.  Did see some good ones, too, but I think I saw more bad ones.

1989 through 1994 seems to have been the nadir---I saw him 3 of the worst 10 concerts I've ever seen.  But he and his band had recovered by 1995.  He was smokin' on the summer tour that year (blew the Dead off the stage)!

'89 was still pretty decent and the Hammersmith and Paris residencies in early 1990 were superb. It went downhill after that, especially from early 1991 when the original NET band with GE Smith broke up and Bob's performances descended into drunken ineptitude. The summer '91 European shows are unquestionably the worst performances of his entire career...things picked up a bit after that though and for me the Great Music Experience Tv broadcast he did from Japan in May 1994 was when things really kickstarted again. The 1995 shows (when he actually chose to sing without playing an instrument for much of the show) were absolutely brilliant - it was like watching a rebirth on that spring tour of Europe that year compared to what I'd last seen from him two years earlier.

You bloody Brits always got it better in the mid 90s.   It always seemed like he was so much more creative and challenging in Europe than in the US, at least in the Missouri area where I'd always see shows.  I'd watch dull shows at the Fox or somewhere and then get boots like The Pedlar Now Speaks and feel really ripped off.

I saw Mr. Dylan in 1991 in New Orleans.  It was the worst show I have ever seen.  And this comes from a card carrying Dylan fan.  I took some friends who were on the fence, and this show promptly sent them the other way.  The more recent shows have been okay, but I have to agree with Gazza concerning the 1991 shows.  Everyone likes to make fun of his "Elvis" period with the Budakon tour in 78, but that show was one of the BEST shows I've ever seen anyone do.

Best Dylan Show I saw was with Tom Petty backing him up.
I loved some of the Dylan shows from the 90's.
One outdoor concert in the rain- Bob came out in a hooded sweatshirt- never took the hood off- never addressed the crowd-blew through a hour and half set and was gone.

Saw him a few years ago at the Beacon in NYC. I didn't know he stopped playing guitar and I couldn't understand a word he sang. Worst Dylan show ever.

I think the guitar problem is a physical problem with his arm....Sad And my husband, a HUGE fan, says he doesn't want to hear him sing in person again. Bob's band is great, but he is becoming a shell of what he used to be.....

For decades, Bob has resolutely been the world's worst electric guitar player.  You can see/hear it in video like the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame benefit concert, and hear it on scores of boots.  His anti-style worked best with Robbie Robertson in 1966, when together they created cooperative sharp dissonances - so good, the initiates all hated it like it was Stockhausen.  Since then, he hasn't cared to play collaboratively with other guitarists.  It's shocking in a guy who has real style and character on acoustic guitar.  If I were Keith, I'd have sat that guy down with some old records and relived Edith Grove.

Sadly, no. Helsinki was the only show for me this time around.
But just over a year ago, I caught the club show and the arena show in my hometown of Stockholm.
The club show was surreal...

Just got an e-mail from pollstar which says that Bob has added another Finnish show on June 28th at Haapavesi.

Surely that cant be right as he's playing in Spain that day.

Yippee!  We scored 12th row floor tix for Tulsa!!!!  The server went haywire though and we almost didn't get anything.  Now it seems to be working again.  The Internet can be a nightmare.  Anyone else going to see Bob @ The Brady Theater this August?

peace out,
Martha

Could be.
SPAC is a great place, and the two acts they've confirmed so far make that festival look mighty appealing.

Wondering if that might also be the weekend that somebody else is in Philly...  Wink

LOL I bet it isn't any of them Gary.  I am hoping to find out.  I know one of the people who called in the set, maybe he'll have a clue.  Or hopefully some reviews will be posted and hints will be dropped.  Wink
Stay tuned Ronnie!

Wow. Interesting that he's chosen to do it now, but never before - she died in 2000.

Bingo!!!  I tried to find the day of her birth last night but couldn't, only the year.  I thought of her immediately though when I saw the set-list.  I also think he's "talking/referring" to her in "Nettie Moore".   I can believe it's for her.

Indeed.

I was flipping channels & I heard a bit of Bob off Modern Times. It turns out that his song was featured in one of Lohan's recent flops, Georgia Rule. Can't remember the actual song as I had already flipped to a better flick.

cheers Martha - just returned from a wonderful ,chilled-out, relaxing, sun-drenched weekend in a very hot, Southern France. Cool

Toulouse is a beautiful mini-city, and is to be recommended for a 3-4 day city break.

Good food, good wine, great weather....oh, and the Bob concert was STUNNING.  Fuck you Gazza, Will ya?

I was blessed to get 'Simple Twist' - and yes, it was played beautifully. Smiley

My other highlight of the set, was a gem of a, 'Nettie Moore'...but really, the entire show was great....as was the t-shirt and the tour poster, and the post-concert beer. Let's go get drunk

...the only thing missing, was sharing such a great show, with some of you guys. Smiley

Those of you attending the upcoming U.S shows, are in for a treat.  Fuck you Gazza, Will ya?

Ade I would LOVE to meet you at a Bob show.  Wish you could come over here for the 4 I am hitting in August.  Just got my Park City tickies a moment ago.  I am so ready to see Bob again....but also I feel I've never left him since the Texas 3-pack in February.  Then my second favorite Bob sends me the shows from the tour (due to my ignorance of downloading) and I am spinning those to keep in the groove...it works so well! Wink  Also I live on Theme Time Radio Hour each Wednesday when XMX plays 2 shows over a 24 hour period.  I never knew I could have my cake and eat it too, life is GOOD!

I have good music news to share....I got extra, extra lucky and got 2 tickets on Friday afternoon for the Robert Plant Alison Krauss gig at Red Rocks Saturday night.  It had been sold-out for months and I'd been trying for months (only at Txbastard) to get in.  I can't tell you all how great the show was.....otherwordly comes to mind....and Robert threw in "I'm In the Mood (for a Melody)" which sent me over the beautiful orange moon that rose right as the show came to an end.  Red Rocks is the most gorgeous venue on this earth.  Come here rock lovers!

So glad Bob rocked your world Ade.  I certainly know what that feels like.....like nothing else.  Cheers to you my friend!

xxxooo,
Martha

No tix available for Prospect Park in Brooklyn in August. I could've made that show!

What about The Borgata in AC on 8/16?  I got pretty good seats for that one the other night.

I might be away that night.

Handy Dandy

First Release

Under the Red Sky
1990

Handy dandy, controversy surrounds him
He been around the world and back again
Something in the moonlight still hounds him
Handy dandy, just like sugar and candy

Handy dandy, if every bone in his body was broken he would never admit it
He got an all girl orchestra and when he says
"Strike up the band", they hit it
Handy dandy, handy dandy

Bridge #1:
You say, "What are ya made of?"
He says, "Can you repeat what you said?"
You'll say, "What are you afraid of?"
He'll say, "Nothin' neither 'live nor dead."

Handy dandy, he got a stick in his hand and a pocket full of money
He says, "Darling, tell me the truth, how much time I got?"
She says, "You got all the time in the world, honey."
Handy dandy, Handy dandy

Bridge #2:
He's got that clear crystal fountain
He's got that soft silky skin
He's got that fortress on the mountain
With no doors, no windows, no thieves can break in

Handy dandy, sitting with a girl named Nancy in a garden feelin' kind of lazy
He says, "Ya want a gun? I'll give you one." She says, "Boy, you talking crazy."
Handy dandy, just like sugar and candy
Handy dandy, pour him another brandy

Handy dandy, he got a basket of flowers and a bag full or sorrow
He finishes his drink, he gets up from the table he says,
"Okay, boys, I'll see you tomorrow."
Handy dandy, handy dandy, just like sugar and candy
Handy dandy, just like sugar and candy

Some news on the upcoming Bootleg Series Vol. 8 AND rumours of a new studio album

(source : Desolation Row mailing list)

Some Album News

Sources tell me that the new Bootleg Series album (No. 8) will be released in Europe on September 8th, to be followed on the 19th by the re-release of 15 old albums in papersleeve form; ten of these will be newly re-mastered. More “horse’s mouth” information to follow soon.

But here’s what little we know so far. The following have been mooted as being part of this 2 CD set since the beginning of the month and there are more treats to be revealed -

Dignity (piano demo)
God Knows (piano demo)
Various other Oh Mercy out-takes
TV Talking Song (original version)
Polly Vaughn (Bromberg sessions)
Rise Again (Bromberg sessions)
32-20 Blues (World Gone Wrong/Good As I Have Been To You)
Girl From The Red River Shore
Shake Sugaree (out-take from TOOM)
Mississippi (out-take from TOOM)
'Cross The Green Mountain (complete version)
Various Modern Times demos

Later this month there was an article in a Dutch newspaper by someone who had supposedly heard the album and had this to say – translation taken from an Expecting Rain discussion board –

Jeff Rosen gave Sony permission to choose material for a chronological double album out of no less than fifty unreleased songs. The result is baffling: more than fifteen tracks are brand new, four sound better in their alternate takes than in the original, and some obscure covers tell a lot about Dylan the transmitter of folk roots.

The Bootleg Series 8 starts with five outtakes from the Oh mercy sessions. ... What we didn’t hear on the album as it was released are the solo piano versions of unreleased songs like ‘Dignity’ and ‘God knows’. Dylan sounds particularly concentrated and relaxed.
The follow up Under the red sky was marred by a cold Dan Was production, but it was Dylan who convinced Was not to release some much better takes on known material. For instance the original version of ‘TV Talking Song’ now sounds like a caustic protest song.
More fascinating still is an entirely unreleased studio album from 1992. ... Bromberg ... project blown off ... Yet gospel tinged tracks like ‘Polly Vaughn’ and ‘Rise Again’ show an utterly enthusiastic performer ...

... Good as I been to you... World gone wrong. Some of the (incomprehensibly) left off songs from these two albums are on the new Bootleg Series, among which a heart-rending interpretation of Robert Johnson’s ‘32.20 Blues’.

... Second CD of BS8, the highlight ... starts of with legendary Time out of mind sessions. ... ‘Girl from the red river shore’ is probably the most impressive Dylan has written in recent years. The ghost ballad is an epical track in which Jim Dickinson and Duke Robillard harshly try to counter Dylans hallucinating ghost voice. During repetitions Dylan also unearthed a modest version of Elisabeth Cottons ’Shake Sugaree’. And this Bootleg Series also brings for the first time the original and much better take of the epical ‘Mississippi’.

... The complete version of ‘Cross the green mountain’. Lastly two demo’s of ‘Modern times’ that prove how driven and precise Dylan is in the studio these days.

And this was in Tuesday’s Daily Telegraph, Neil McCormick writing -

Bob Dylan has a new album ready for release. This represents an almost unheard of turnaround for the legendary old curmudgeon in his latter period. There has been four or five years between each of his last four albums, the most recent being the much acclaimed ‘Modern Times’ just two years ago. More than this, I cannot tell you. It could be a masterpiece or another one of his strange cast offs, like his 1990 nursery rhyme album ‘Under A Red Sky' or 1986 album of sloppy rock and roll cover versions ‘Knocked Out Loaded' (the clue to its quality was right there in the title). But Dylan seems to have re-engaged with his art in the past ten years and so there is every cause for hope. All I know for sure is that in some windowless room deep in the bowels of SonyBMG in London (quite possibly surrounded by armed guards) executives are locked in listening to playbacks while management discuss what to do with it...

Smiley Also, for some unknown reason we had to buy 4 tickets to get the presale promotion?!?  So, we have 2 tickets to sell in row B seats 1-3. they are superb!  If anyone is interested (Gary? Meg?! Joey?! LOL) please PM me!  This venue is only 1200 capacity all reserved state of the art acoustics sans a balcony.  I plan to politely stare straight into Bob's eyes!

After getting my Rolling Stone magazine on the 30th, I knew Bob would start playing "Maggie's Farm" again. You GO Bob!

I wonder how it was played?  Gosh I can't wait to see him!

GTRM I am seeing (@ Pagel's) The Joint in Vegas as the venue, on the 1st, but you see another venue.  I plan to attend so I need to be sure!  Thanks for the info!

I checked into the Pitt show.  This festival is mostly college bands.  But, it is going on with the South Side Summer Streert Spectacular, so even if you don't want to see the college bands , plenty to do.  The Streets of the South Side are closed down for a huge party.  Plenty of drink and ethnic foods.  Then after all the young bands are finished, head back to see Dylan.  Can't beat the cost of the ticket also.

I'll be there.  Maybe even ride my new Harley dawntahn.

I just checked on dates. The Tulsa show is Wednesday August 27th and the Kansas City show Turdsdsay August 28th with a day off in between that and the Aspen gig (30th), (or I can't make all these shows!).  Park City is on the 31st (my 17th wedding anniversary). I hope these are correct, only 5 shows are up at TX bastard so far.

Thanks Mary!  You are the BEST!!!!

love and hugs,
Martha

This Dylan thread is more active than the other one, so I'll post these new dates here as well:

WED  08-20-2008  Hamilton, ON     The Joint @ The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
MON  09-01-2008  Las Vegas, NV   Copps Coliseum

Ticket info here: http://www.bobdylan.com/moderntimes/tour/main.html

I've spliced the two threads. It means a few are out of sequence but from now on we can keep all the Dylan info in this thread to avoid duplication.

Nonsense.  Highway 61 Revisited is CLEARLY the contemporary Bob equivalent of Miss You.

H61 still sounds pretty good live for the most part. Maggies Farm has been tired for decades.

Bob's equivalent of YGMR (ie, minor, unloved latter day song being played to death in vain attempt to pummel audience into seeing it as a warhorse) must surely be Summer Days.

Who unloves it?

It rules!

I think Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum is the Dylan YGMR.

Both are songs that kick my ass sometimes and baffle me the next and both are mysterious serial repeaters.

I'm on the Desolation Row (a UK based fanclub) mailing list. We get (almost) daily news updates.

Keep a check on Pagel's site too, just in case.

G, I check Pagel's site as well as bobdylan.com everyday at least twice.  They both have the same dates up at the moment.

The Joint doesn't have Bob's show up at their website yet, but if it goes anything like the Temecula/Pechanga show it won't be posted until minutes before the presale begins.

peace out,
Martha

OK I just got myself a ticket and I am in Section A 'riser' section too! These are the only seats left, the floor seats are gone.  Shall we meet up for a pre-show cocktail? check PM please!

http://www.desolation-row.co.uk/

There isnt actually an active site as such but if you e-mail John Baldwin on the link above, maybe he can put you on the mailing list.

It used to be a regular magazine service called "Dignity" available by subscription, but thats somewhat gone by the wayside in recent years in favour of an e-mail news update. I'm not sure if theres still a fee, but if there is its very small.

The best thing about it is that - along with the other Dylan based fanzines like Isis - we get priority ticket allocation for Bob's UK shows due to a long running deal with his UK promoters. So, there's no ticketmaster fees involved, and the only extra when ordering tickets is a tiny admin cost of something like £5.

Dylan needs a publicity stunt....or a great new record.
Or else he's going to shuttle off into graceful oblivion. Our time is over....it's time to just die a graceful death.

Just heard today that apparently in an interview in the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Kris Kristofferson said that he will star in a Western together with Dylan and Robert Duvall; he said that the producer would be Steve Bing.

Sounds like Bob's still on a roll!  Did you get my Lu photo G?  She was in top form at Red Rocks last night. But I digress.  Bob's TTRH was marathoned all weekend on XMX.  I was in heaven!  Those shows are priceless.  I don't know how I ever got along without them.

peace n love,

G, You are very welcome.  I couldn't help but think of you as she stood there playing her great tunes. She did 11 songs, about an hour on the stage.

She looks really good and her new tunes sound delicious.  Can't wait for her new album to be released, sometime in Rocktober!

Bob playin a "cowboy" shouldn't be much of a stretch then ehh?! LOL

Did Lu do her AC/DC cover last night?

Can't wait for the new album - 'Jailhouse Tears' with Elvis Costello is supposed to be one of the tracks...

Only 11 songs? Why so short. Normally she plays about 2 hours if theres no curfew.

Didnt know she had a new album due. Then again, I havent been paying much attention of late as her official website is pretty hopeless in terms of providing info.

Thanks for the info. She did a lot of songs for 'West', some of which are in that list. (She played 'jailhouse tears' as an audible despite the protests of her 'new' band who tried to convince her they didnt know it well enough after I shouted for it in Manchester two years ago)

130 bastarding dollars!

I think the cd single is the bobdylan.com exclusive. I cant imagine the deluxe set being limited to that site. At that price, it would be economic suicide. Or it should be.

A word of advice. Do NOT order something from Dylan's official site if you live outside the US. They charge a fortune for shipping and WON'T (even though you can request it on their site) tick the items as 'gift' meaning you end up paying hefty amounts for import duty.

Normally, if I'm ordering stuff like expensive box sets from overseas where the prices are so much cheaper, I get them sent to my wife and marked as a 'gift' to avoid the duty on them. If youre doing that, get it from amazon.com or somewhere else.

latest from Desolation Row:-

More on Bootleg Series 8

My announcement yesterday about the new album “Tell Tale Signs” was based largely on information from Bobdylan.com. ISIS issued their own bulletin, and we both seem to have concluded that the 3 CD set containing the 7” vinyl could only be obtained by ordering from bobdylan.com, but that you’d still be able to get the 3CD set without the vinyl from other sources. This has been questioned by some who have read the Bobdylan/com announcement differently. Looking back at the Bobdylan.com announcement, it could be concluded that the only source of the 3 CD set is through Bobdylan.com. However, information from Sony/Columbia says otherwise. The only way to get the 7” vinyl is through bd.com by buying what they are calling the “Bobdylan.com Exclusive Deluxe Edition” but you can get the set without the vinyl through normal sources (although, caution, it’s a limited edition). Bobdylan.com mentions three options (2, 4 and 5 below), but there are apparently 6 options, as follows:

1. Single CD version (13 songs) in a jewel case with a 16 page booklet. The US and Canada will hold off on releasing this format until some time in November but elsewhere it will be released simultaneously with the other formats on October 7th. I believe this will be disc 1 of the 2/3 CD set.
2. 2 CDs featuring 27 songs plus a 60 page booklet with “stunning” rare photos and in-depth notes by author Larry "Ratso" Sloman. Price through bd.com $18.99, but available elsewhere.
3. The limited de-luxe edition - As above plus third CD with additional 13 live songs, plus 150 page deluxe photo book of Bob Dylan "singles" from around the world. Available through usual outlets.
4.The Bobdylan.com Exclusive Deluxe Edition - As 3 above plus 7" vinyl single of "Dreaming of You" and "Ring Them Bells". Available only through bd.com at $129.99. Note that these two tracks are not unique to the vinyl; they are both to be found on the first two CDs.
5. Four 180 gram vinyl LPs featuring 27 songs ( from CDs 1 & 2) plus the 60-page booklet as above. Price through bd.com $99.99, but available elsewhere.
6. An iTunes release of the 2CD version with an exclusive bonus track (to be decided) not included on any o fthe other formats.

Items 4 and 5 will be heavy and, if bought through Bobdylan.com, postage charges to Europe will be steep; for option 2 it’s just under $40.00.

"Dreaming of You" is available as a free download from bd.com. if you have trouble like I did, go to www.yousendit.com That’s where I had success. There will be a second free download available early September but the exact date and which track are still to be decided.

“Ring Them Bells” on CD2, live at the Supper Club 1993, can be viewed in video format in the online version of Mondays USA today (see next section), You should be able to see it by clicking on the following url or by pasting it into your browser - http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2008-07-28-dylan-telltale-signs_N.htm
It’s a truly beautiful version IMO.

A concept video has been shot and is scheduled to premiere on September 8. The US are planning to give Amazon.com the premiere but it’s still to be decided for elsewhere. Further promotional videos are being planned.

The New Album According to Edna Gundersen

From USA Today –

The tunes, they are a-changin', and Bob Dylan fans will find the telltale signs on Tell Tale Signs, the long-rumored eighth installment of his Bootleg Series.

The two-CD, 27-song set, out Oct. 7, contains previously unreleased studio recordings, demos, alternate takes, live tracks and rarities spanning 1989 to 2006, a rich period that generated the lauded Time Out of Mind, Love and Theft, Modern Times and Oh Mercy. A third 12-track disc is part of a limited-edition deluxe set in a hardcover slipcase with a book with photos of all of Dylan's singles. The 27-song version also will be issued in a limited-edition four-LP set.

Listeners will discover a wealth of fresh material and multiple versions of songs with altered lyrics, moods and styles.

"When Most of the Time came out on Oh Mercy, I thought it was such an achingly beautiful love song," says Steve Berkowitz, senior vice president of A&R at Columbia/Legacy. "Now it's here as a folk version and something that sounds like Dylan with Brian Eno and The Edge. To hear the way the songs and lyrics develop is fascinating. Dylan comes across as a folk singer, a blues musician and a jazz artist."

Dignity appears as a truncated piano demo and in twangy rockabilly form. Series of Dreams undergoes a rewrite. Twin renditions of the bluesy Marchin' to the City serve as blueprints for 'Til I Fell in Love With You.

The newly unveiled Dreamin' of You, a free download at the just-overhauled bobdylan.com, bears lyrics that later fed other songs.

Also new to Dylan's canon are Red River Shore and Can't Escape From You, written for a film but never used. Miss the Mississippi was rescued from a long-shelved album with David Bromberg, and 32-20 Blues marks Dylan's only release of a Robert Johnson cover.

Among the rarities are the live The Girl on the Greenbriar Shore, eight-minute 'Cross the Green Mountain, The Lonesome River duet with Ralph Stanley and Ring Them Bells from Dylan's storied 1993 stint at the Supper Club in Manhattan. Those performances were filmed but never released.

"The songs and performances are of such strength and diversity, they will appeal to new fans and longtime fans," Berkowitz says, predicting the two-CD set will satisfy most appetites. "For some fans, there's never enough."

That must be one hell of a heavy piece of 7' vinyl then theyre using for the 2-track single, because its the only difference between item 3 and item 4!

Option 3 will suffice for me, with hopefully an i-tunes purchase of just the bonus track mentioned in option 6.

No doubt within a few months of people selling off their first born to get the deluxe edition, there'll be an alternate and much cheaper way of getting disc 3 made available "due to popular demand".

Nonsensical stuff. And we thought the multiple options of buying the "Dylan" best of boxed set last October were head scratching.

The free download song available on the official site is a sort of early version of "Til I Fell In Love With You". Its not bad, although it's no 'Series of dreams'

"option 3", would certainly appear to be the "consumer friendly" option.

We just need clarification/confirmation from Amazon etc, of it's existence/ ordering info.

nevertheless, very confusing stuff from Mr Dylan and his record company.

I will miss the over-priced practice (Steelers first pre-season game) to attend the Dylan show Friday.

I'll be more than happy to, although I may not write in until late Saturday.   Friday is looking to be a long night.  My friend's (he is going to the show with me) band is playing a bar down the street after the show.  The last time I was lead singer for the Stones set.  LOL!!!
