I just checked on dates. The Tulsa show is Wednesday August 27th and the Kansas City show Turdsdsay August 28th with a day off in between that and the Aspen gig (30th), (or I can't make all these shows!).  Park City is on the 31st (my 17th wedding anniversary). I hope these are correct, only 5 shows are up at TX bastard so far.

Thanks Mary!  You are the BEST!!!!

love and hugs,
Martha

Got the Borgata tickets for 8/16! It's supposed to be a nice little theatre, and we've got Row A of the "riser" section. Yes!  Cool

This Dylan thread is more active than the other one, so I'll post these new dates here as well:

WED  08-20-2008  Hamilton, ON     The Joint @ The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
MON  09-01-2008  Las Vegas, NV   Copps Coliseum

Ticket info here: http://www.bobdylan.com/moderntimes/tour/main.html

I've spliced the two threads. It means a few are out of sequence but from now on we can keep all the Dylan info in this thread to avoid duplication.

Nonsense.  Highway 61 Revisited is CLEARLY the contemporary Bob equivalent of Miss You.

H61 still sounds pretty good live for the most part. Maggies Farm has been tired for decades.

Bob's equivalent of YGMR (ie, minor, unloved latter day song being played to death in vain attempt to pummel audience into seeing it as a warhorse) must surely be Summer Days.

Who unloves it?

It rules!

"I got my hammer ringin', pretty baby, but the nails ain't goin' down!"

I think Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum is the Dylan YGMR.

Both are songs that kick my ass sometimes and baffle me the next and both are mysterious serial repeaters.
