As you know Mick Taylor was part of Billy Preston's Band during this tour, opening for the Stones in 1973. To avoid the people recognizing him he used to wear a wig a'la Preston... like this one

Do you know what date the second set is from?

Also, you well know that Taylor had no need to go incognito. The problem was that, when he went on stage with Preston:

Richards would nick his stash.

So, he got the biggest wig he could find, put it on backstage

and filled it appropriately.

The rest is

hairstory.

I mean history.

By the way, did you ever translate your interview with Taylor?

I've got none of those, but sound samples for the new album appear on the HMV Japan site:

The samples indicate US vs. UK version; however, it does not seem that these are from the same show. Any ideas about the source of the new performances?
