i'm affraid the next studio album and world tour will be their final, at least the world tour will be their final. i mean they can always write and record new stones material, no matter how oldthey are.
i was thinkin': how would it look like in say three years from now? something like this below: it's realistic no?
May 2011: The Rolling Stones announce a 50th anniversary final world tour and the release of a new Studio Album and a Best Of album. Both in stores June 2011!
June 2011: The Rolling Stones release their (no title) new studio album on the Universal label.
June 2011: The Rolling Stones release the final very best of 2CD Set. The very best of 50 years of Rolling Stones! Including Satisfaction, Paint it Black, Brown Sugar, Angie and 2 tracks from the new studio album!
July 01, 2011: The Rolling Stones Kick-Off their one year trek around the globe with a intimate club gig at the 100 Club in London.
August 22, 2011: The Rolling Stones Play their final 2011 gig., and take a break for six months before hitting the road again in 2012.
March 01, 2012: The Rolling Stones are back on the road again after a well deserved break of six months, to start their tour up again at the Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City.
May 02, 2012: The Rolling Stones kick-off their North-American tour at the Phoenix Theatre in Toronto.
June 27,2012: The Rolling Stones Return Home from North America, to play their three final gigs ever as the Rolling Stones at the 02 Arena and Wembley Stadium!
July 01, 2012: The Rolling Stones have wrapped up their final world tour at Wembley Stadium. A memorable final bow after 50 years of sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll! The Rolling Stones are no longer a performing live band.
December 2012: The Rolling Stones release their official Blu-ray disc set with exclusive interviews, and live footage from their final world tour!
