Haha! I did, long, long time ago. They were a cover band, basically and no better tan your avg. cover band.

Scott is touring with STP, VR was way overhyped, considering the level of talent. Scott is probably the most talented, and i'm not an STP fan...

The supergroup thing rarely turns out well regardless of who is in the band.

He is? According to who? Or is this wishful thinking. From the same sources that say Chinese Democracy is finally going to be released.....Anyway VR wasn't bad. Their best original song was Fall To PIeces. Weiland went from having his ass thrown in jail and thrown out of the band into one of the most highly anticipated tours of the summer. Although as much as I like STP.I'll probably pass. I don't like the venue they are playing locally.

Ah, sweetcharmedlife, where've you been? He did nearly a dozen dates on the last tour in '06-'07 and about the final seven shows. With Finck off to NIN, the door is open. It continually amazes me how people think Slash was somehow important to GnR and was close to or wrote songs with Axl. Izzy was always Axl's main man, not Slash. btw, Weiland has expressed newfound sympathy for Axl recently--saying he now understands the GnR breakup was the fault of dickheads Duff and Slash
