you don't need to mod or place those files individually - just dump 'em in the main script of the appropriate folders, as old files need to be overwritten.
so no elaborate copy/paste exercise...and no changing of perl scripts by hand.
well at least that's what I gathered from that other mod-board.
well, i did say that i did NOT read anything about the specifics, but i do know how those types of add-ons work, as i have installed them, and sometimes you have to type the path specific to your host server and dirs manually. kudos if that is not the case with this particular modification...

but whatever you do Voodoo, it's an open-heart operation on the only working board, make sure to have a current backup. backup.
did I mention backup?
i wholeheartedly agree with this.
i would even go further, and suggest that you (the admins) are sure you know HOW TO BACK UP the bbs (via trying it), and then saving a hard copy of all the dirs that you are gonna add to (download the dirs in question via ftp) BEFORE attempting to install the add-on.
having said that, it will likely be easier for you to install the add-on than it was for me to type this post, so go for it - it looks cool. and if the thing bombs, and you cant restore the db, well - at least you only lost a few days' worth of posting
