The results are in, and it is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican candidate for President of the United States this November.
Trump claims to run a campaign of unity, but his actions say otherwise. He has categorized millions of people as “criminals,” called women “dogs” and “pigs,” and promised to ban a religion of more than one billion people from entering the U.S. His words are entrenched in racism, sexism, and xenophobia, and he is inciting violence. At pro-Trump rallies throughout the country, women and people of color have been harassed, threatened, and physically assaulted.
This is not a man who should be anywhere near the office of the presidency, yet he is closer to becoming president today than he ever has been before.
Grassroots Campaigns is leading the fight against Trump, and we’re hiring politically motivated individuals to lead our nationwide campaigns and push back against the rhetoric of hatred and divisiveness. Our Assistant Directors are responsible for leading canvassers in the effort to engage voters, promote progressive and Democratic causes, and keep our country from giving in to the most dangerous elements of the Conservative movement.
Duties include building and leading a team of canvassers, leading by example in the field and the office, and keeping your local office on track to win the most crucial campaigns in modern American history.
