It's cliche to say it was a fantastic show, but it truly was. It was one of those shows where it was clear that the fact that such a massive stadium was sold out gave the band a lot of positive vibes and you could feel the energy.

Mick and Charlie are quite incredible because neither one is a lick different than they were when they were 20. Charlie's power and swing is just extraordinary, and there are not enough words to describe Mick's abilities. In light of the reports of his voice going at Santa Clara, I thought it might be a little subdued, but his voice was very strong.

Highlights:

- You Got Me Rocking. Yes, I know most can't stand it, but this was the best version I have ever heard them do of it. It just sounded so good and Charlie was a monster. May have been my favorite of the night.

- Ronnie's slide playing and solos on the acoustic. He played some wonderful stuff on You Got the Silver, just beautiful.

- Warhorse, but Miss You was just rocking and one of those moments where the band and audience were joined together. Not sure how I feel about Darryl Jones' star turn in soloing, but he's a great player and deserves his moment.

- Mick and Keith's interaction. It looks their relationship is better than it has been in ages. Mick singing into Keith's mic was wonderful.

- Keith's Satisfaction solo.

- Lot of others, but can't recall.

Lowlights (although I hate to do this)

- Gimme Shelter. Sasha Allen's turn was not the greatest. Have heard her hit it out of the park on this and other tours before, but it was just a little off.

- Saddest part of the whole thing was that Keith sounded very labored and clunky in a lot. Also, apart from some loud riffs here and there, it seems like his guitar is much much lower in the mix. Even Ronnie's was really low. He just sounded very shaky and he was not the power base of the band that he used to be. He has never been fluid like Mick Taylor or others, but I don't think I've ever seen him this choppy. Before They Make Me Run was the worst example of it. Total mess.

-Brown Sugar: see above.

It was very endearing to see Mick try and help Keith out throughout so perhaps there is a silver lining. Also, the show ended with a: See You Soon message on the screens.

It was a special night, and they are still the only band in the world - at whatever age - that can put on such a quality show. I have always said that they never get the credit they deserve. Dylan may have said that he could have written Satisfaction but Keith couldn't have written Desolation Row but the reality is that he wrote Desolation Row but no one could have written Honky Tonk Women, JJF, SMU, She's a Rainbow, SFM, Sympathy, and many others except Mick and Keith.

I have always (and the archives have enough proof) thet this song is fantastic live, a rocking masterpiece

I dont get why so many fans hate it, it is simply perfect.

Other thing I don't get is the hate for Chuck Leavell but that it's another story

Yes! it was a fantastic begining of the show, You Got Me Rocking i didn´t hear in recent years since ABB tour! Sounded very good as you say, Ronnie was so fresh!
And the Monster Charlie! Wow this version of Tumbling Dice with a Charlie drumming a lot and hard!
