I'd rather be back in 72. Or 69.

I'd like to go back to 1972 and buy up vinyl records.  I still remember mall stores full of them, not to mention independent record stores, discount stores and even drug store chains.  That early in the 1970s, you could find sealed pressings of 1960s records that had sold a lot (but not that one last copy), or hadn't sold well but were underappreciated gems.  I still have a few, including Stones LPs.

By 1975, I was working part-time during high school and buying my own records, but I wish that had occurred by 1972 so I could have been quicker off the mark with older vinyl.  The timing kept me out of Vietnam, at least.
