Title: I heard Emotional Rescue today.

Over the loudspeaker system at Sprouts this morning. It is the Greatest, freshest sounding Stones tune bar none. Is sounded so damn good! It never gets old...
Emotional Rescue crushes it.

I still don't know why I like this song, but I do.  I love it.  Maybe it's the saxophone...maybe it's the fact that the jazz-accomplished Charlie Watts looks totally bored, trying not to laugh because he's getting paid mega for playing music WAY beneath his abilities. lol  Maybe it's Wyman's totally cool bass line that really carries the song.  Maybe it's Jagger's vocals, which grate on me to no end.  I don't care, really, because in the end we're treated to Keef and Ronnie miming guitar to a song that doesn't seem to have any guitar (other than bass) in it until it begins to fade out at the end. lol  I sooo want to hate this song, but I just can't.  And I don't know why.  I've just learned to accept it in my advancing age. lol

Pretty sure Ronnie 'Ronnie' Wood supplied the bass on 'Motional Rescue. It's a groovy tune about being released from a toilet with a jammed door apparently.

Almost seriously though, I feel this lovely ditty was - at least partly - about both Jade and Teef.

I heard 19th Nervous Breakdown yesterday while shopping in Sprouts. Man it felt good! I was whistling along! We now prefer Sprouts over Publix. We will continue to support
