The Rolling Stones - Bridges To Bremen is out on 21st June and available to order now.

Bridges To Bremen is the full-length show performed by the Stones on the fifth and final leg of the Bridges To Babylon Tour. Filmed at the German city’s Weserstadion on September 2, 1998, the band had by then completed four legs in the stadiums and arenas of North America (twice), Asia and South America before finally landing in Europe early that summer.

Ever the innovators, Bridges To Babylon was a tour of firsts – the first time the band went on the road with a permanent B-stage, and also the first time where fans could vote on the band’s website for a track they wanted to hear on the setlist – Memory Motel in the case of the Bremen fans. This concert film has been meticulously restored from the original masters, and the audio remixed and remastered from the live multitrack recordings.

The Bremen Concert was aired on TV back then here in Europe.
Though I still have it on VHS, I wasn't impressed and so I not watched it a 2nd time.
Just my 2 cts.

I think this was one of the better BTB broadcast shows. Good gig as I recall.

They showed it live on pay channels across Europe and parts of North Africa - I seem to remember Mick namechecking every country.  A condensed 90 minute version was aired on 'free' channels.

The live broadcast wasnt made available in the UK at the time though. Our shows had been postponed until June 1999 for tax reasons and I guess the band didnt want would be audiences to get 'spoilers'

Interesting little tweak to the setlist saw them drop 'Little Queenie' from the b-stage section and move 'IORR' there from the main set.  The song had been a b-stage staple all tour but even when a show in Chorzow, Poland on 14th August was televised in that country a few days previously it was one of two or three songs that were omitted from the broadcast. The apparent reason was that Chuck Berry's royalty demands for a TV performance of one of his songs was considered excessive.

Here's 'Memory Motel' from that show

I have always liked the B2B tour in comparison to some others... in the USA those opening chords to Satisfaction (if i recall it was opener) and how Keith charged out there with the shades and cool ass long coat... Ronnie also with the white framed shades and long coat they both looked like cool ass gunslingers.

The blow up Dolls on each side of stage a few times getting lost in windbag large and in charge. That circle screen looks quite dated now but it was all that in 97/8.

First 10 rows at some shows $100.
We got dead center two seats off bridge 9th row in Miami $200 for both!!!!!
I could bring my wife to all the shows and either kid that would come with us.

And Lisa's/Mick's version of Gimme' Shelter that tour was good. As was Sister Morphine on those cool autumn nights where sounds travels clearly (Foxboro) along with back to back shows ;)

Oh BTW long time no talk folks.. HI. ;D

I liked B2B, but any tour where they kept that oval video monitor above center stage was a visual disappointment.  Damned thing looked like a Victorian mirror over a sideboard, and revealed about as much.

It's from Chicago 1997, the occidental set has four bonus tracks from Chicago and the Japanese five
