you bastards!! my hometown and the site of my first stones show back in 81. the hartford brewery was owned by a friend of a friend was a nice place. Was living out west at the time had gone to the sacramento shows and had tix for san jose so i told my bro to sell the extra he had. he didnt he took my mom instead! she had a good time. she wasnt the biggest rock and roll fan but she had seen bill haley among others back in the day. unbelieveable still cant believe i missed ya'll

You bastard! We missed you there and we missed you in one of my visits to NYC too. My first time was in 1981 too, I was living in NYC, in Riverdale, Bronx; I couldn’t get tickets for the MSG shows and I sent many SASEs with "Tattoo Me" even using addresses from friends living at the Campus. So we decided to go to the opening show in Philly, later I knew Hartford is closer than Philly, LOL Some months later I got tickets for MSG so I watched both one show in Philadelphia and one in NYC. The only thing I hated about Hartford is that the bars close at midnight... Come on!!! WTFF |
