So I'm curious to know what cities the RO fanzoids will be traveling to for No Stopping.

I'm in for Edinburgh with Lucky Dips on the cheap! I guess I'm gonna have to try Scotch Whiskey. Any recommendations? 8-)

Don't they export Scotch to the US? ;D

I keep a bottle of 18 year old Glenlivet in my booze cabinet!

I have tickets for both London Stadium shows (Golden Circle for the 22nd and lower stands right next to the stage -section 131- for the 25th). Flying into Dublin on the 16th. If for some reason, that show doesn't happen, I'll enjoy hanging out there!

The Stones PR team screwed up by releasing No Stopping signs. Everyone thinks that's the name of the tour. They need to get it together and come up with some new names.

Yeah they have Scotch here but I always thought it was an old man's drink, and it smells bad. I was reading about Edinburgh and they specialize in that stuff so I'm thinking I should try it. What brand is good?

It's a matter of personal taste, and don't let anybody tell you different.
Blended vs. Single Malt and many different categories (or types) with in....

....but remember, vodka, tequila, bourbon, rum, gin etc. ...they get you drunk, while scotch gets you high ;D

I would recommend Talisker....but I would say that it's one of my personal favourites. The last time I visited the Isle of Skye I made a point of doing the Talisker Distillery Tour... to say I was in my happy place is an understatement.

Seriously though, try afew different distillery single malts until you discover one that suits your palate.
The taste is all grain, soil & cask dependent.

This is beyond awesome. This is crazy. I can't believe it went so smooth, no disconnections from TicketPro this time, wow. Smooth for me at least - there was a queue before the tickets even went on sale, I logged in, and when the tickets were released I had 46 seconds left before the system would log me out. I don't think I've ever been faster doing anything online ;D

Lots of others having severe difficulties getting tickets, the queue is now 2 hours or something. :(

CZECHS COLLAPSE TICKET SERVER FOR ROLLING STONES CONCERT

Massive interest in purchases of Rolling Stones concert tickets for a Prague performance caused the sales server to collapse.

The booking site collapsed under the pressure within minutes of opening for business on March 9. Buyers had to be redirected to a second site where they were warned that they might have to wait in line for up to two hours.

The Rolling Stones are due to play in Prague as part of their No Filter tour on July 4.

The band set a Czech record in 1995 when around 130, 000 attended their Prague performance in a sports stadium.

It took 10 min for the LUCKY DIP radio button to appear this morning...but it finally showed up.

Got my ticket to Dublin...statistically...I should be able to see 1 or 2 songs that the second half of the tour wont get to see

Now to re-ask Bitches question...now that all shows are up and available...

VEry true...I was lucky enough to first visit Prague when it was in Czechoslovakia...they had not gotten the hang of a free market yet...First class hotels for $30/nite...Giant beers for about 23cents...great meals out for about 4 dollars...It was exhausting just trying to spend a hundred dollars...I was able to bring back a shitload of Czech crystal too... This was in 92 or 91...

Just doing Dublin and the first 2 London shows. If I didn't visit Scotland and Prague back in 2015 (not Stones related), I probably would have chosen different shows.

Maybe mentioned elsewhere....LUCKY DIPS are dropped again for Dublin...if they don't show up at first...wait a few minutes then try again and they should populate.

I, too, am arriving the morning of the 16th...I may try to arrive a day earlier...but wont know until the day or two before...I really want to crash upon arrival so I can jump on the time zone thing...

The Night before gathering is a Shidoobee gathering...if anyone wants to join the party...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...let me know and I will toss you into the head count.

IF you dont...I do not think it will be the end of the world...simply ask for "The Shidoobee room/party" and you will be OK...

Only condition is that you make sure you seek ME out...I will be there as Paranoid Android and my Shidoobee moniker, HeWasHot...at very least, make sure you say hello to StonesDoug...

This goes for ANYONE on these boards...

As for the day of...I have not heard anything yet...I will post it if anything is arranged.

Myself...I plan on one touristy thing that day then manage to make my way to the show...
I will be meeting up with a friend that afternoon ...if we happen to find a place on the beaten path...we will post it HERE...

But if someone manages to arrange something before that....who knows...If I stumble on a doable location for that afternoon...again...I will post it here...
