Any rumors etc about this tour being extended? Maybe some Feb-March arena dates?

The next dates are likely to be in the UK in July-August 2018. Already in the planning stages.

After five years of no shows and no Rolling Stones UK concerts outside London since 2006, I think we're overdue!

Maybe they'll finish an album in the first half of the year.

I think the creative fires have been put out a while ago. Just a vibe I'm getting. No new album.

You may be right. Spending this amount of time on a record on and off (ie, since late 2015) doesnt suggest the inspiration is there.

I also honestly think they'll pack up touring after next summer.

The talk is of quite an extensive UK tour - maybe as much as ten shows.  They never play that many shows in the UK and havent done a show of their own outside London since 2006.  It screams 'farewell tour' to me, even though I doubt they'll bill it as such.

It'd be a pretty underwhelming farewell to the US if their last ever concert there turned out to be a private corporate show in front of a few hundred people in a tent in an empty stadium in Foxboro.

What a horrible throat.  The Stoads will all make it until their mid/ late eighties, Shirley, with several 'bums inbetween?
'This'll be the last tim (ries)" my ar*e.

One thing is certain... and that is they will never, ever play that dump in Omaha ever again. Omaha is right after Altamont on the list of places that shall never be greeted again.

I don't think farewell is in the plans...I cannot see a new album. I think Blue & Lonesome, as fantastic as it is, shows that as a band they are at their limit creatively. It's the first record I can think of where Keith isn't a driving force.

I welcome my hero to challenge me though. I'd gladly eat my words.

For the record, this band means more to me than my own life. I've devoted my entire life to enjoying their music and seeing them in concert.

In a way they are my greatest love affair!

Long live the mighty mighty Rolling Stones!

There's got to be a North American farewell tour, the god of Foxboro fates notwithstanding.  Because that's where the farewell money is.

Theyve kinda been on a farewell tour since 2013. It'll just end when they're too knackered, bored, infirm or too dead to continue.

They could do a farewell tour of 15 private shows instead of 15 public shows and make more of a profit playing shorter shows for less effort if they really wanted to.

Keith's words at the final show went something like this: This is the last time you are going to see us for a while. So he implied there will be a next time but not just yet. Next summer seems possible if all goes well. I have to say, the band was in fine form and they genuinely enjoyed themselves on stage in Paris, a lot of interaction between them, even Charlie, so I have hope for another tour!
